Mung Bean Porridge With Sweet Potato for Breakfast

We can eat mung bean porridge in hot conditions, or cold with added ice cubes, I add this with nata de coco durian tasted, Consuming mung beans and is very good for health.

Sunday morning, I prepare breakfast Mung bean porridge and sweet potato, I really like this porridge since I was little. Mung bean is very easy to find in Taiwan, while for other ingredients I look for it in Indonesian stores.

Let's follow your journey to prepare breakfast Mung bean Porridge and sweet potato

Ingredients I need are:

• 80 grams Mungbean
• 5 grams of palm sugar (small size)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 teaspoons salt
• 150 ml water
• 70 ml coconut milk
• 2 pieces pandan leave

Step 1: Soak mung bean 6-8 hours

Step 2: Boiled mungbean 45-50 minutes

Step 3: Add sweet potato and boiled it

Step 4: Boiled mungbean and potato sweet until soft


Step How to cook

• Soak mung beans for 6-8 hours, so that the enzymes contained in them come out when boiled.
• Boil the water
• Put the mung bean boil for about 45 minutes add sweet potato
• Add salt and vanilla to taste
• Add sugar to taste (because I don't like too much sweetness, I only use one small grain of palm sugar.
• Add enough coconut milk
• Add a little vanilla to make the peanut porridge fragrant.
