Say yes to oranges! I always have a stock of oranges at home. Either it is eaten raw, or I process it again into a fruit salad or I make juice.
This brightly colored fruit is always interesting to taste, and also always interesting to take pictures of. So it finally attracted me to make a fresh drink this time.
The day is very hot. Oh, I can't count how many times I've told you this. Yeep, in the area where I live, the intensity of sunlight is very high. It's a natural thing if it's still sunny at 5 pm.
Let me show you how I prepared freshly orange milk juice but in a plant-based version. Enjoyyy! 🍊 🍊 🍊
THE INGREDIENTS
The ingredients are very simple. I use coconut milk with fresh oranges. Then what is certain is the ice cubes.
For sweetener, I don't use extra sweetener because orange is sweet enough for me. And the addition of thick coconut milk also adds a little sweet and savory taste.
If your supply of oranges tastes very sour like the oranges I often find in the area where I live, then you should add sugar. The trick is to cook the sugar with coconut milk first until it simmers. Or, you can make sugar syrup first.
Mix Them All!
Prepare orange juices first. Ah, I love twirling oranges in the juicer.
The very important thing to note is that you don't mix orange juice and coconut milk when the coconut juice is hot.
It is best to make sure all the ingredients are at room temperature.
For serving, I add ice cubes to the serving glass. Then, pour the coconut milk.
The final step is to slowly pour the orange juices.
Anyway, I got a refreshing and delicious taste! For self-experiment, a good taste is obtained when I use palm sugar which has a fine texture. Although palm sugar changes the overall color of the drink, it tastes absolutely delicious. (Oops, forgive me for not taking pictures of my experimental results).
Well, that was about a super simple recipe that I love! This has become my newest favorite list. ❤️❤️❤️
The most important thing is to make sure the coconut milk is not in a hot temperature condition to avoid the orange juices turning into curd.
Thank you for reading my blog and reblog if you want my blog this time worthy of reading by others.
