in #hive-178708last year

Hello friends in Architecture+Design Community, In Indonesia, the third Sunday of June is the time to end school activities, because the even semester break will start until early July. For friends who are looking for tourist destinations on the island of North Sumatra, friends can visit one of the tourist destinations that offer extraordinary natural views, I recommend Tuk Tuk, Parapat. Tuk Tuk is one of the areas located on the island of Samosir which has beautiful nature. Tuk Tuk, Parapat is surrounded by the largest lake in Indonesia, namely Lake Toba. In Tuk Tuk there are many inns, one of the inns that friends can visit is the Ambaroba Hotel.

If we stay at the Ambaroba hotel, we can see the view of Lake Toba at sunrise and sunset, because Lake Toba is right in front of the hotel.

Exterior hotel architecture

I will share information about the unique architecture and design of the Ambaroba hotel. I'll start with the exterior hotel architecture. The outside of the hotel architecture is identical to the traditional Toba Batak house, because Tuk Tuk is located on the island of Samosir which is the traditional land of the Toba Batak tribe. We can see the design with bright colors and building materials made of wood on the exterior of the Ambaroba hotel.

The exterior design is filled with floral patterns with bright colors, usually using red.

As an attraction to attract the attention of visitors, in front of the hotel hangs a wooden ship that looks like a lifeboat. This wooden ship can be used in times of emergency.

Interior Architecture

When stepping into the inside of the hotel, at the entrance to the right there is a reception area. The reception area is in the same location as the dining room. From the dining room, we can see a beautiful view of Lake Toba.

The pillars used in the dining room are made of wood that is hundreds of years old. To beautify the wood and make the wood more durable, the wood is varnished.

On the pillars there are many ornate ornaments typical of the Toba Batak tribe, one of which is a mask.

The dining table and several accessories in the dining room are dominated by wood. The owner wants to give a strong natural impression to the reception and dining room, so that the extraordinary natural scenery of Lake Toba can be balanced. Furniture in the hotel is also dominated by materials made of wood.

Vip Room Architecture

I stayed one night at this hotel, I will choose a VIP room, because the best room is only a VIP room, the cost I have to pay is quite cheap, only 500 K rupiah, there are only two VIP rooms in the Ambaroba hotel. I will get dinner, breakfast and lunch. I was given the key to room number 27. I will show you the interior design of the Ambaroba hotel's VIP room.

The VIP room is quite spacious, with a pretty good design. On the right, there is a TV and dressing table.

The interior design on the left has a pair of sofas that are soft and feel comfortable when relaxing here. The VIP room is on the 2nd floor, I can see the beautiful view of Lake Toba from the balcony.

In the VIP room there is also a dining table made of white marble.

The next VIP room interior design is a barrier between the bedroom and the reception area in the form of a wardrobe set. The wardrobe is placed between the dining room and bedroom, so that we still have privacy if there are guests who visit our room.

In the VIP room there is also a spacious bathroom.

I forgot that I haven't eaten since afternoon, I went to the first floor to enjoy dinner, on the first floor the cold air from the direction of Lake Toba was starting to be felt.

Waking up watching the beautiful view of Lake Toba, I immediately got out of the room and wanted to take selfies in the morning.

After doing a bit of exercise, I went around the hotel. On the second floor I found a dining room, in this room, we can enjoy food while relaxing.

The architecture of the Ambaroba hotel is still dominated by traditional Batak Toba architects, the extraordinary natural scenery and hotel architecture with traditional designs, make me feel at home for a long time staying here. But tomorrow I have to start work, so this afternoon I will go home.

All the photos I took with the Realme GT master Limited edition 5G camera.

Typical Batak patterns that always make me proud for the many characteristics and traditions, including the art of the custom itself. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for positif feedback @aswita

My previous @v4vapp proposal has expired. I have a new one which is running but unfunded right now. I'm still running @v4vapp and all my other services.

I've just updated v4v.app and I'm getting ready for some exciting new features after the next hard fork.

Please consider asking your friends to vote for prop #265 or consider unvoting the return vote.

For understandable reasons in the current crypto climate it is harder to get funded by the DHF, I accept this so I'm asking a wider audience for help again. I'll also add that I power up Hive every day and usually power up larger amounts on 1st of the Month. I'm on Hive for ideological reasons much more than for only economic benefit.

Additionally you can also help with a vote for Brianoflondon's Witness using KeyChain or HiveSigner

If you have used v4v.app I'd really like to hear your feedback, and if you haven't I'd be happy to hear why or whether there are other things you want it to do.

Hi @umirias, the location of the hotel near the lake allows you to appreciate a great view of the landscape, the architect knew how to combine this wonder of nature with its incredible construction, the night view is very beautiful and perfect to relax while enjoying the cool breeze and also a delicious dish.
