Yesterday, I had a day at the hairdresser's. Not exactly for me, but for my daughter.
On Saturday night she told me she wanted to get a haircut to start school. She doesn't like going to the stylist (that's something we share 🤭) so I was up for the challenge. I have worn my hair short since I was very young and I am my own hairdresser.
I didn't instill that behavior in my daughter, in fact I wore it when she was younger, until when she was 11 she told me she didn't want to go anymore because it was too uncomfortable for her to sit still in a chair for so long. Since then her haircuts (and even other little stylistic adventures 😜) have been done by me.
I have no training as a hairdresser, but after cutting so much fabric, paper and cardboard I get the idea that hair is another material and without fear I venture to see what comes out. At the request of the client the cut this time would be straight, short and with fringe.
