Have a nice day! Today I have a new picture for you again, which is called "Romantic Island". For some reason, I suddenly wanted to write an island in the middle of the ocean :-) Although the kids are still waiting for the animals...
This time I started drawing with water. I wanted to correctly position all the planned objects in the picture, so I needed to understand how much space should be allocated to water.
To do this, of course, I drew possible mountains and the sky, and only then began to plan the location of all objects on the island itself.
I drew as always with acrylic paints on plywood size 13x25. I am still continuing a series of paintings for kindergarten. I like to draw and besides, I began to receive small orders from the parents of the kids.
So recently, one mother said that her daughter gets up in the morning and wakes her up.
- Mom! - she says. "My butterflies were already waiting for me there, which were drawn by that aunt artist" :-)
It's about them :-)
And the present picture will also be for one of the kids.
Therefore, I need to try hard to make the landscape appeal to the children.
I first depicted the mountains in the background. And only then began to draw all the architectural buildings. I decided that this picture would look like a view from the terrace itself, which is located on one of the many oceanic islands.
Since the size of the plywood is small, only these flower pots and masonry will be visible from the terrace.
You remember that I prefer bright paintings, so this time I paint with all the colors of the rainbow. I took red cadmium, ochre, burnt sienna, white, ultramarine, of course, and began to mix the shades I needed. I really like this process. I mix paints with a palette knife. It is very convenient for them to mix colors.
Then I place the resulting shades on the palette and begin to draw roofs, windows, doors, buildings, sidewalks and even cars :-) Kids are constantly asking me to draw more techniques.
And I'm a big fan of just boats and ships. I haven 't mastered another technique yet ...
And as a result, I got such a bright and even sunny landscape.
Of course, I also took several other photos of my new painting.

I published many of my works in this portfolio on the website "Deviant Art", and in General, during the year of painting, I drew more than 160 paintings, of course some of them are just drawings, so to speak, a sample of the brush :-)
