Hello everyone here, I had a long time without publishing for many reasons, one of them my internet connection here is very bad, but lately it has been worse than normal, it is terrible and very discouraging, previously I went to the house of an aunt who has Wi-Fi, but there everyone got sick with covid and I couldn't go there anymore; as my sister and I have mentioned before, my mother has cancer and we must be very careful for her.
Fact is, I'm republishing and will try to pick up my posts and try to do them more often. The truth is that this platform is a great support if you can be constant and active in it, a goal that I want to set myself soon.
On the subject, my sister @marylucy, who is more active in Hive and Ecency has motivated me to make new publications to have more reach and for my work to achieve a better diffusion (she has a lot of faith on me), so I wanted to share with you something very special that I have done for my niece Isabela for her 9th birthday.
To update you a bit and to understand the context of my post, first I briefly comment about my mother, that as I told you she is undergoing treatment for cancer, she has already successfully finished chemotherapy (It is worth noting), she is in a state of fairly good health and has exceeded a lot almost a year after his diagnosis; a couple of months ago she had a CT scan, which yielded excellent results, at this point there is no presence of disease in her, something that we are very happy about, but despite that, due to her condition she must be kept a little isolated, since your immune system is vulnerable to any disease and covid is a constant threat from which we must take care she.
My mom loves crafts, to keep herself entertained and active in her isolation, she started crocheting, making cute little dolls that are known as amigurumis (a Japanese technique). Thanks to the great acceptance they have had we began to sell them; today we have a new venture all made by hand, with love and as a family, we have called it "Creaciones Mi ~ yaya", for my mother (her name is Migdalia), she is the one who weaves them, my sister @marylucy is learning and helping in the process with details and applications, my sister Beliza makes the boxes where we deliver them, and I make the final touches of placing the key ring, packaging, labeling and their respective photographs of the finished piece and ready to deliver; these photos are for the promotion of our entrepreneurship on the internet.
As this weekend is my niece Isabela's birthday, my mother knitted her a cute little blue whale of a gift (which matches perfectly with Ecency) and asked us to make a special box for her, unique to her; It is a triangular box, made by my sister Beliza (Isabela's mother), on white cardboard, hand-illustrated by me; Since it is a little whale, I chose the sea as a theme, drawing waves, a night sky and a paper boat that illustrates a scene where Isa (Isabela) is sailing with Karim (our cat), Hashiko (our dog) and Lilo (her morrocoy torture); In this drawing I used watercolors and inks, I also achieved a nice effect when drying the paper with heat, they are those white spots that can be seen. Hola a todos por acá, tenía tiempo sin publicar por muchas razones, una de ellas mi conexión a internet, aquí es muy mala, pero últimamente ha estado peor de lo normal, es terrible y desanima mucho, anteriormente iba a casa de una tía que tiene wifi, pero en su casa todos enfermaron de covid y no pude ir más ahí; como hemos comentado por acá antes mi hermana y yo, mi mamá tiene cáncer y debemos ser muy cuidadosas por ella. El hecho es que estoy volviendo a publicar e intentaré retomar mis publicaciones y tratar de hacerlas con más frecuencia. La verdad es que es un gran apoyo ésta plataforma si se logra ser constantes y activos en ella, meta que me quiero fijar pronto.
Entrando en tema, mi hermana @marylucy , que es más activa en Hive y en Ecency me ha motivado a hacer nuevas publicaciones para tener más alcance y que mis trabajos logren una mejor difusión (ella tiene mucha fé en mí), por ello quise compartirles algo muy especial que he hecho para mi sobrinita Isabela por su cumpleaños número 9.
Para actualizarlos un poco y que entiendan el contexto de mi post, primero les comento brevemente sobre mi mamá, que como les dije está en tratamiento por el cáncer, ya ha terminado la quimioterapia con éxito (vale destacar), se encuentra en un estado de salud bastante bueno y ha superado mucho a casi un año de su diagnóstico; hace un par de meses se le hizo una tomografía, que arrojó excelentes resultados, a estás alturas no hay presencia de enfermedad en ella, algo que nos tiene muy contentos, pero a pesar de eso, debido a su condición debe mantenerse un poco aislada, ya que su sistema inmunológico es vulnerable ante cualquier enfermedad y el covid es una amenaza constante del que debemos cuidarla.
A mí mamá le encantan las manualidades, para mantenerse entretenida y activa en su aislamiento, comenzó a tejer a crochet, haciendo lindos muñequitos que son conocidos como amigurumis (una técnica japonesa). Gracias a la gran aceptación que han tenido comenzamos a venderlos; hoy tenemos un nuevo emprendimiento todo hecho a mano, con amor y en familia, lo hemos llamado "Creaciones Mi~yaya", por mi mamá (su nombre es Migdalia), ella es quien los teje, mi hermana @marylucy está aprendiendo y la ayuda en el proceso con detalles y aplicaciones, mi hermana Beliza hace las cajitas dónde los entregamos, y yo hago los toques finales de colocar llavero, empaquetado, etiquetado y sus respectivas fotografías de la pieza finalizada y pedido listo para entregar; esas fotos luego son usadas para la promoción de nuestro emprendimiento en internet.
Como éste fin de semana es el cumpleaños de mi sobrina Isabela, mi mamá le tejió una linda ballenita azúl de regalo (que combina perfectamente con Ecency) y nos pidió que le hicieramos una caja especial, única para ella; se trata de una cajita triangular, hecha por mi hermana Beliza (la mamá de Isabela), en cartulina blanca, ilustrada a mano por mí; ya que es una ballenita escogí como tema el mar, dibujando unas olas, un cielo nocturno y un barquito de papel que ilustra una escena donde van navegando Isa (Isabela) con Karim (nuestro gato), Hashiko (nuestro perro) y Lilo (su tortura morrocoy); en éste dibujo usé acuarelas y tintas, además logré un bonito efecto al secar el papel con calor, son esas manchitas blancas que se pueden apreciar. A continuación les muestro el paso a paso, espero les guste.
