Think About The Children - Pen Drawing

From my 'African Child' drawing series, I present to you my new art work which I entitled "Think about the children". This is the second piece relating to the suffering of these children.

Look at the expression in these kids faces. They entail what they've been going through. There is no atom of joy or what soverthere.

I can't phantom how some kids are being born and left to be starved, no education, no healthcare.

We should learn how to value what we brought. And if we don't really need them, we shouldn't bother bringing them to life to suffer like this.

"Think about the children"

Children should be a gift from above and not a course or burden for us to bear.

The drawing was done with a blue ballpoint pen on my sketchbook. See my steps below:

This drawing is emotional and has an important message. It is really sad to see the children left helpless without adequate care and basic needs. They deserve to just be happy and enjoy life at that age instead of suffering.

To see the suffering of these children make my heart so sad. This drawing touches my soul in a strong way. It's a really well done drawing, because it helps us to understand how many children are suffering now in the world. :(

It was harsh, especially during the Civil War. Even at the moment, there are some children facing this too.

Hello @maxwellmarcusart. My heart sank when I saw your pen drawing of the children. I wanted to cry. It's the eyes, you see. They are the window into the souls of our babies.

Save the Children. War, poverty, deprivation, hunger. Our children are the ones who suffer needlessly.

I commend you for tackling this sensitive subject that the world seems to turn a blind eye to. Around the world in all countries, our collective children are the ones who, in the future, will bear the brunt of this neglect.

A lot of children especially from Africa are going through a lot and facing this. I hope the governments do something about it. They deserve the best just like every other children.

This picture took us back to the time of civil war in Nigeria where many people died of Hunger and lack of nutritional food what is sad story and moments to even remember even till today many children still suffer from lack of nutritional foods which are as a result of poverty, when a parents cannot provide for the children then the children have to cater for themselves thereby eating anyhow food that comes their way which brings about sickness and all manner of illness, well let me not talk more about the sad stories and memories, I must commend you this is a very good great work of art you are really talented in drawing and I encourage you to keep it up

You are absolutely right. And what marvels me is that some faction of people are still agitating for break up which could lead to another civil war. No one would love to experience that - even our forefathers who did knew what they passed through and wouldn't want that to come again.

Every child needs to be catered for. They are blessings from above not curses.
