I've been practicing how to draw portraits and for I while I've been using the GRID METHOD. I have been able to get the dimensions right and just need to work on my shading.
But recently I found out a new method and haven't watched a few YouTube videos I decided to try it out.
The hardest part of the attempt was getting a good freehand circle. Honestly the videos made it look easy.
I would've added images for each step but I wasn't so sure I'd be willing to share the end result. But when I finished I think it's a nice one for a First attempt.
Below is my first attempt at the ANDREW LOOMIS METHOD for drawing portraits.
