Mobile has become an essential part of our life and to keep things working properly we need the battery fully charged. However, putting the phone goes through all this daily strain has a direct impact on its battery life. People have tried to compensate this loss with the help of fast-charging technology. But that is not a proper solution to the main problem. To make lofe bit simpler, the Tech companies have tweaked out the software which can have a positive impact on the mobile battery life. As long as we follow the basic hygiene steps to get the right support, our mobile battery will sustain longer.

Battery Health and How to Check?

Being an android user, I am very much familiar with the Battery health check up option in every mobile device. The IOS user need to check this of their own. Checking phone's battery health now and often gives a clearer picture of all the apps in use, that are still running and consuming the battery. There would be some wanted, some unwanted apps, that are draining the mobile precious resource.
Checking the battery health regularly help us to keep a check if we need to get the phone's battery replaced or not. It also help you in indicating to buy new mobile device. Recently, I changed the mobile, after considering the poor battery health. In case you find yourself in a situation where you are facing issues with your phone's battery, here's a step-by-step guide to check your Android phone's battery health:

Step 1: Open the Settings app on your Android phone.
Step 2: Scroll down to the Battery option and then tap it.
Step 3: Once you are here, you will find your Battery status over the last 24 hours and all the apps that have been eating up your phone's battery.

(my own mobile battery status)

From this screen, we can take the necessary control action for our mobile battery. We can force an app to close, we can also disable an app that has been eating up our phone's battery. We can find which app is longer in use as much.

If these steps don’t improve the overall health of your phone's battery, we still have the option to reset our phone. Looking at the condition we can consider buying a new phone as well.

Keeping the Battery Healthy

The checks to keep the battery are always in our own hand. There are many option too through which we can make a optimum use of the mobile battery. Here are few ways through one can keep our mobile battery healthy.

  • Updating the "Latest OS" version on the device regularly. Most of these updates comes with fixing different issues and battery draining might be one.
  • Keep the "Location" tracking disable. Use the festure only when needed. Users often keep it swith on while booking Uber, or driving etc. Location is tracked using the GPS sensor which consumes a lot of battery, so limiting its use means longer battery life. Also make sure to use of location tracking is limited to only those apps that really need it
  • Checking "Wi-Fi/Bluetooth" status. Most of the time, we kept them open, even we no longer use them. Keeping them enabled means the sensors are working in overdrive trying to get you connected to a nearest device. Turn them off and save your phone battery

  • The "Screen Brightness" level is also the battery eater. Enabling auto-brightness on your device is a better way to save batter battery. Also try to maximise the display with the energy-saving tool. Screen with high refresh rates and resolution means more the battery usage.

  • Activating "Dark Mode" is another silent way of saving battery. Many users like this festure while many not. However, Google has advocated for dark mode claiming the feature can help you give around 10 per cent more out of the phone's battery.

  • Disabling "push" notifications. Keeping ourself updated with breaking news, stocks alerts etc but they eat little bit of phone battery. Make a limited use of it unless and untill required.
  • Do not let your device "Heat Up". Sometime, phone is pushed to its limit with intense gaming or while charging. This may cause a serious damage to the phone Many companies warned the users not to use a device when the temperature is above the normal levels. Adhering to their warning and little alert of our own can preserve our phone's battery health. Also we can set the battery charging limit to 85%.

  • Activating "Power-Saving" mode. Every Android phone comes with this feature. The use of power-saving mode is to extend the phone's battery life.

It is alwsys good to stay in good heslth and keep everything heslthy. Mobile is an important part of day tonday life. The more we take care of it, the more it help us in our daily life.

Peace!!
