I want to use this medium to greet all great Hivers. How has been your day so far, hope you are all doing good? I'm positive minded that it's all well and fine.

I have started selling chicken for festive season now for more than five years if memory serves me right. Through those years I have been able to gather lot of experiences. The first year I sold chicken for chicken Christmas, I could recall, it's just fifty birds. I made all my sales during Christmas but I had nothing to sell for new year. I was out of stock but still paid off due to number I rear and the customers I had then.

Out of the remaining past three years, there's a certain December period that I had chicken for Christmas and New year with left over live chicken which I ultimately sold during January which didn't pay because I sold at lower price on dressed chicken. So all this have helped me a lot to gather some experiences on how to go about my festive season sales.

Can I say the the last December was the best season ever?

Yes, I guess it's in all ramifications. Before the last December I had my stock of hundred and two birds. I have been making intermittent sales before December festive period came per say. I allowed my festive marketing covered both Christmas and new year period so that I would have chicken to sell for both Christmas and new year. And I can say I didn't miss the target.

Prior to Christmas, I had about forty birds for sales which I have know will cover for my sales for Christmas and new year. Out of the forty birds I made sales of twenty eight birds which I had twelve left for new year sales. I sold eleven for new year, the only one left for me was later sold for eleven thousand. In fact, the last December sales was so accurate and timing. I'd it the gain I want to talk about? Seriously I made the gain but the challenge I'm facing right now is that I am running the business on loan and debt.
