Just 22 days and we are going to welcome the new year. It amazes me how fast the days, weeks, and months come and go like they are in a rush. But then again, maybe we just feel like that. Time is just being time, doing what it was predestined to do.
Anyway, this was supposed to be out yesterday but Mr. P came and lingered on so it remained unfinished. Thankfully, I was able to kick it out today and finally had the mood to continue with the draft. It has been 2 weeks since my last content and updates for the goals laid out and shared on the Saturday Savers Club and it wouldn't be nice if it kept going. That is like allowing procrastination to take residence in my life which I do not like.😅
So for the record, here are the numbers relating to my staked LEO and HIVE:
Leo Power
While LPUD is 5 days away and I should be accumulating liquid LEO for it, I decided to stake 159 yesterday. It felt good to see the numbers move even a little bit. This alt now has 23k Leo Power considering that I start in the year with just 7,500.
- Current: 23,000 LP
- 47th Week: 22,841 LP
- Growth: 159 LP
Well, at least 1k LEO was added to my stakes since the 22k LP target was reached a few months ago so it's not bad at all, yeah?
To be honest, I was expecting the LeoAds revenue protocol to start distributing rewards to stakeholders but it has not happened yet. The smart contract was said to have gone live on November 1st so hopefully, we will see some drops before the year ends. Maybe there's a minimum amount required for it to be triggered.
Hive Power
Despite the drought in terms of long-form content, my staked HIVE is still growing. On top of that, my simple wish to hit the 2.5k Hive Power mark came true, yay!
- Current: 2,554 HP
- 47th Week: 2,468 HP
- Growth: 86 HP
While my last goal was to have 2k HP this year, it feels good to see that we have added more than 500 to it. Participating in HPUD, manually staking HIVE once in a while, and being on threads helped.
However, the slower progress these recent weeks made me realize that it is always better to aim and set another target when the previous one has been achieved. Doing that will motivate us to stay driven and keep our momentum.
With this in mind, I hope to do better when setting my next goals for 2024, not only here onchain but in real life as well.
