This is my post for #freewriters Wednesday prompt put your feet up hosted by @mariannewest

I wish that I had the money to open a thrift store. I could fill it with the things that people throw away. My husband took our trash to the dump and someone had set this vacuum cleaner by the wall, the man that works there was getting ready to throw it in the dumpster. My husband told him that he would take it. There were some other things beside it, but the guy had already thrown them in the dumpster. There is only one attachment on it and I am wondering if that is what he had already thrown away.

I plugged it in and it ran but did not have much suction. Are you the type that would rather sit back and put your feet up and throw something like this away? Or are you the type of person who tries to fix it? I am the one who tries to fix things. After taking it apart, I found no clog.

It has two filters, this has a blue foam filter that goes over it, and it looked the dirtiest. I tried running water through it but it is so clogged that water could not go through it.

I cut the filter out of it and put the blue foam in it. I plugged it in and it sucks like a vacuum cleaner is supposed to suck. Now that I know what was wrong, I will buy a new filter and have a good vacuum cleaner.

The other thing that I did today was planted this plant.

I wanted two plants like this one, so I took my husband's saws-all and cut the root ball into two pieces. I would not advise doing this with most plants, but this is in the dracaena family which is a type of cane, and I believe that it will survive.

All pictures are mine

Ooh I like the plants in the end of the photo. I am also planting some!

By the way, can we post general topics freewriters community?

Thank you for reading, I try to work the prompt in somewhere but I do not know if it is required. @mariannewest would be the one to ask.

Alright thanks for the info man!
