5 minute freewrite Friday prompt for exposure

This is my post for #freewriters Friday prompt for exposure hosted by @daily.prompt

Yesterday I was able to participate in the Hive Power Up day and received my first badge, I do not know how long it has taken me to get more than 10 Hive so I could do this but I ended up with 16 Hive. I do not think I will get the 4 more to power up next month but I am looking forward to when I get it and can get my 2nd badge.

This is a proud moment for me because I built the 16 Hive that I have on writing a post every day or trying to make it every day and I think some of it might have come from my commenting on others posts. Either way, I did it!!

When I comment on someone's post, it is not for exposure, it is because I care or I am interested in your post.

I learned a new thing from @jacobtothe there is this thing called farm voting, I think that is what he called it. I am not sure how it works but people farm votes by making short comments, if my comment is short, it is still from the heart.

I wish everyone who reads this and those that haven't a safe and happy weekend.

I had never heard the term before, how does it work? I said, well said and that was it. How does this benefit me? I am not saying ME and he did not accuse me of it, he said the same as you did about me.
How does it help anyone who is farming votes? If someone leaves well said as a reply and they vote on the post, isn't this helping the one who made the post? So sorry, I know it is a lot of questions but it got me to thinking.

In essence, one is hoping that in getting a person's attention positively, that person will return the favor and check out your post. That's the essence of it. Sometimes these comments are copied and pasted on a lot of posts at once. Yes, it DOES help the person who made the post -- it's not entirely a bad thing -- it's sort of "gray area"...
