After completing the Cosmic Creations No. 10 Contest theme "Rebirth". I wanted to share with the Alien Art Hive Community another mixed media art project related to the theme. To be a witness to a rebirth, one must be in a position and ready to undertake a new way of life or way of thinking. This can be either spiritually or an inner connection to one's consciousness.
I share with you my version of Rebirth.
In completing my Rebirth No. 2 mixed media art project, the theme I envisioned was an assembly of people. I wanted to portray a gathering for a specific purpose...to watch the rebirth or cleansing event they were invited to. Each person in attendance sought different outcome in their lives. They came in hopes of securing their dreams. In order to accomplish the rebirth in my mind, I needed the assistance of a phoenix. I view the phoenix as a symbol of renewal. One must go through the process first in order to emerge on the other side.
Designing the scene of the rebirth required two different digital art programs. One program was a stable diffusion from StarryAI. The other program was from generative art software, Wombo Dream.
With the Wombo Dream, I retrieved three awesome images. Two were detailed landscapes views. One of the landscape images depicted people huddled together at the edge of a shore. The people are watching and waiting for some action to occur. The other landscape showed a thunderous skyline that flowed into a body of water. Once I blended the water with the remaining landscape, it appeared as a portal in which the people would pass through for their rebirth. I felt both would work well for my renewal theme and they certainly accomplished the task.
The other image was that of an enlarged eye. The expression on the face of the person feels as though he is not happy with what he is seeing.

Wombo Result: For this image I took a second turn to see what the program would produce.
For my next images, I turned to StarryAI. From this one prompt, I received four beautiful images of a phoenix that represented a rebirth or renewal. I decided on the two images below for this project.

For my third set of images, I included two of my pure fractals. I felt these two fractals would add depth and texture to the skyline especially if in opposition to the renewal ceremony taking place.
Once my images were selected, I uploaded all into Canva, my design program. To blend them, I took advantage of the advanced tools provided in my upgraded Annual Pro Membership Subscription. With the advanced tools, I can accomplish all the steps I set out below.
I share with you my procedures.
To a blank canvas, I added the Wombo Dream people gathering image.
Resized the Wombo Dream of people; then duplicated it to fill entire canvas. Loved how this turned out as though people were gathering on both sides of the valley near the water.
Added the sunset Wombo dream image. It was perfect as a waterway
Removed background; duplicated, then positioned both as a sanctuary for passage.
Added the Wombo dream eye image. Deciding where to place it took time as I tried different areas of the canvas.
Removed background. I felt duplicating the eye and repositioning them on each side of the mountain would add a dramatic effect.
Added the two pure fractals in the skyline.
Added the two phoenix stable diffusion images; removed their backgrounds, the repositioned and resized them.
