In this Inktober 2024 challenge, I want to share with you my interpretation of Prompt #10 - Nomadic. In developing the theme, I wanted to present both human and animals on a nomadic path wandering through the forest. A mysterious light source is guiding them to their destination.
Below is my project for Inktober Prompt #10.
Of the several images I utilized, one was a crow from the stable diffusion program, StarryAI. For the background, I located a dark, eerie landscape scene full of mystery with cobbled steps as if providing a pathway. I couldn't believe my good fortune to discover a male head covered with markings that I felt was the epitome of a nomad. It worked perfectly with my scene.
Several pure fractals I created in the advanced fractal rendering program, Apophysis 7X added an ethereal quality to the scene suggesting magical forces at play in assisting the nomad and animals on their journey. I love how my pure fractal titled "Sphere - Side Half" provided a cap for the human's head. It appears to fit perfectly as I colorized it. The lightning fractal was the light source that guided the human and animals on their way.
Below is a list of images I included in my scene:
Landscape fantasy ~ Old man's head with stripes ~ Deer with fire antlers ~ StarryAI - Stable Diffusion Crow Image ~ Pure Fractal titled "Bird's bowl in Blue" ~ Pure Fractal titled "Lightning - white" ~ Pure Fractal titled "Sphere - Side Half" ~ Pure Fractal titled "Green Cloud" ~ Green Crystals - Contributed to the #LIL by @quantumg
I then uploaded my images into Canva. I use this program as my design studio to blend the images and create an awesome scene. This program affords me the tools to resize, remove backgrounds, duplicate, colorize, filter, and reposition my images. In addition, I have at my disposal the free templates and elements to create the backgrounds from my scenes or add additional images.
I began with a blank, white canvas. Below are my steps in still pictures.
