I Was Once A Tree | A Mixed Media Art Project for Cosmic Creations - Inspired By Nature No. 2

I was thrilled by the Cosmic Creations No. 8 Contest theme "Inspired by Nature." I've already completed and submitted my entry. I wanted to share with you another mixed media art project related to the theme.

In this "Inspired By Nature" Theme No. 2, wanted to portray a reincarnation. On a sunny day in the Fall when the landscape has turned to yellow and burnt orange, a young woman emerges full grown from the branches of a tree.

My project showcases an amazing free-sourced image I discovered that, on its own was the epitome of the nature concept. However, my vision was a different colored landscape.

Next, a stable diffusion image created with the stable diffusion program, StarryAI, together with a generative art program, Gaugan. I also include one of my pure fractals that resembles leaves.

Next, to blend the images, I uploaded all into my design program, Canva. That way, I can take advantage of the upgraded features such as background removal, colorizing, resizing, and filtering.

Below are my procedures.

Started with a blank, white, canvas.

Added the generative art dense trees image.

Resized tree image to fill canvas for a full background.

Added the yellow stable diffusion sky image and the image of female in grass.

Removed backgrounds of yellow cloud stable diffusion image and female image. Repositioned both. Placed woman in the tree branches.

Added butterflies and fractal image.

**Removed backgrounds and repositioned the images. I placed the stable diffusion butterfly on the woman's right hand. Completed the project.
