Graveyard Fest | Audiovisual NFT for Halloween Art Challenge (#Haunted Hive)

I love dark and spooky, so when the post from @juliakponsford alerted members of a Halloween Art Challenge titled "Haunted Hive", I took time to gather my thoughts on an appropriate spooky graveyard scene for the holiday theme. Since part of the challenge was to mint an NFT, I also gathered my funds.

If you'd like to participate, according to @juliakponsford's post, just create some dark art.

• It can pull from any theme loosely relating to Halloween, examples: horror, ghosts, witches, magic, occult, paranormal etc.;
• It can be visual art, music, etc.;
• Make a post sharing your art in Alien Art Hive, using the tag #hauntedhive;
• Feel free to SNAP it as well in the Alien Art Hive feed using the #hauntedhive hashtag;
• Deadline is November 1st; and finally the awesome part;
• If you mint your creation on NFT Showroom, your mint fees will be returned. NOTE: You must add #hauntedhive in your NFT Showroom tags so your art can be quickly located.

For the mixed media art project, I utilized the stable diffusion program, StarryAI to retrieve the diffusion image. Next, I blended in Canva stable diffusion images, together with open-sourced images, and pure fractals designed in Apophysis 7X. I love the background inside a cave. This effect already gives the scene a haunted quality.

Utilizing Canva to blend the different type images, I added layers of elements in accordance with my upgraded Annual Pro Membership that includes tools to remove backgrounds, resize, filter, duplicate, and reposition items as required.

From this still image, I created an audiovisual version utilizing PHOTOMOSH's MELT filter. Inside PhotMosh's Pro Version, I was able to create the video. I love the capability to incorporate music clips. I chose the following stream and looped it three times.

The audio clip that accompanies my scene I was able to locate at a free-sourced site called UPPBEAT. As indicated on their site, the short clips are perfect for sound effects in various videos. The title of the track is ANXIETY and is credited to Kevin MacLeod from Uppbeat. ¹

Finally, I minted the audiovisual version on NFTShowroom.
