HL-Creative Sunday//The Lion Zealer
Today I bring us a work of art and creativity. I am not really a potential artist but since I attended biology lessons in the secondary school and even in the university I had to learn a little of the art to be able to scale through some of the home works assigned to us to carry out. I think art is a bit difficult because of how much patience is needed to bring out the true beauty of a picture on paper. Well, let's say that's where the major problem is coming for me, apart from the fact that am struggling my way through in the drawing area, I am not giving sufficient time to my drawings like two to three or four days most artist do.
Not to bore you with a lot of writings, there is a quest that we are assigned in the Leofinance community to draw Lion Zealer, a lion, the Leofinance logo and Zealy Logo, I have decided to use today which is a creative Sunday in the hive learners community to bring this drawing to reality. Below is the step by step procedure I ensure to achieve this drawing.
Materials I used.
- Pencil
- White plain sheet
- Eraser
- Razor blade
First step
I first of all did a rough sketch of the lion king as seen below.
Second step
In this step, I drew the mane of the lion and added a little stroke shading to it to give it the hairy nature of the lion's mane.
Third step
If you look closely at this step, I have started drawing the Leofinance Logo of which I just drew the skeletal structure of the logo.
Fourth step
In this step, I have started to beautify the Leofinance logo by adding the blur type of shading.
Fifth Step
I started to add some shading to the Lion after I have drew the ring around the Leofinance logo and shaded it.
Sixth Step
In the sixth step, I drew the Zealy logo which is in form of alphabet letter "Z". I drew the logo and completed my shading of Leofinance logo.
Seventh Step
In this step, I have beautify everything there and added the box closing to the Zealy logo. The Zealy logo wasn't of challenge to draw because it wasn't containing technical features and that marks the end of my drawing. It was indeed a creative Sunday.
