Happy Sunday to you all,
It's a pleasure and a delight being her with you all, it's Sunday and I will be taking part in the creative Sunday contest of this community by crafting an Ankara bangle. It's a new week and a new day to share my skill with you all and am so super excited to share it with you all. Today I was at home and I was bored as there was no one with me at home and so I decided to just craft a bangle. Who would have known plastic bottles had such a good use, as a child I was always fond of playing with plastic bottles but never really knew what could be made out of it, I made a padded Ankara bangle with the help of a plastic bottle and It came out amazing. Many thanks to this amazing community for hosting and organizing this contest every week and allowing me to share my creativity, and without much ado let's begin to create.
MATERIALS USED
• plastic bottles
• evostic gum
• cardboard
• Ankara fabric of your choice and
• scissors
STEPS IN MAKING IT
step 1
The first step I took in achieving this craft was to gather all my materials needed and then I cut my plastic bottle in a circular shape that can fit my hand size.
step 2
After making the circle plastic bottle, I then took my cardboard and gum it round the circular plastic bottle to act as a covering.
step 3
After doing that, i then applied some gum on both the carton and the Ankara fabric and began to rap it to it.
step 4
As I continued with it's transformation, I then continued to rap the Ankara fabric on it so it will take the shape of a bangle.
As I finished with its process, I then took some pictures and here's my final result.
With these steps you can create a beautiful padded Ankara bangle to add a touch of African elegance to your jewelry collection. Feel free to drop your different view in the comment section below.
