Hey guys!
How are y'all doing ๐
This week I had a sudden urge to do something new in my room ( you know it's kinda huge prevelige ๐
, and I enjoy it only when I'm in ICT). So I made this place where we would able to sit at the floor. I first moved the spare bed to the other room and spread carpet and over it piled 2 mattresses. But the wall, which was formerly covered with bed got exposed and it wasn't in a good condition.
So I got an idea.๐ก
There were some architectural design pages in A3 size. So the idea was to paste it over wall and paint something on it.
Materials
- Old Paper
- Paints
- Glue
- Brushes
Process
My glue was a bit thick and it would have ended if I used it as it was, so I added some water to make dilute.
I had already spread the new sheet over mattress, made sure to prevent any paint stains by covering it with old one.
Here pasted first page over wall.
Here it paper was completely dry and ready to be painted.
I wanted brown vibes so, there was this instinct to wash it first with thin brown paint.
You have no idea what I felt at this point. Instantly I wanted to ripe off everything, it was looking so bad. It was genuinely at its ugly stage.
Then I just took a breath and roughly made outline of a butterfly.
Ooohkay, this was the stage which made me keep on going.
Here I took some rest and made myself a karak chai(strong tea).
Butterfly was finish and working on shadows.
I made these flowers by simple strokes of brush.
Wanted to keep it rough so didn't bothered those overflowing flowers.
Then there was this famous quote in my mind.
" The 'Earth' without 'art' is just 'Eh' ".
Full of wit, isn't it?๐
And ofcourse I made a spelling mistake ๐คฆ.
I mean why, this happens whenever I do something like this.
Okay here's the final look. I added pillows and cushions to make it cozy.
I was so happy ๐.
I might ignore my bed for some days๐.
What do you think?๐
Take care โจ
Bye bye ๐
