Hello all friends, how are you? I pray that we are all well. I never tire of sharing my photography with all of you on this platform.
Today I want to share the results of the documentation of one of the most beautiful wild plant species, the Horse Pecut Plant. This plant grows wild in the rural areas of Aceh, the area where I live which has a tropical season. This plant thrives in areas exposed to direct sunlight, we usually get a lot in areas near rice fields, gardens, we can even find it on the side of the road where many plants are dominant.
Horse pecut has very different characteristics from other plants, it has flowers with a very beautiful color, namely dark purple which is small in size with blooming in piles as in the picture below.
This plant is often considered a nuisance plant that can grow in agricultural areas, but not many of us know that this plant has many benefits for us. This plant is used as a basic ingredient in the manufacture of traditional medicines for healing several diseases, such as allergies, fever, respiratory disorders, coughs and many others. For the process of making medicines, the part that is taken is the leaves or flowers.
This plant is truly extraordinary, the plant that we think of as a weed has a lot of benefits.
When I took a picture of this plant, between the flowers there were beautiful insects such as black ants, small bees. these insects beautify the results of the pictures I took.
