Greetings cannabis culture lovers and gardening, I hope everything is going well or better. From time to time you have to replenish some soil and fertilize the garden. With time and watering, the substrate settles and compacts, and some roots may be exposed. When I filled these boxes, the substrate was up to the edge; after about a month and a half, it has gone down 3 to 5 cm.

In addition to settling the substrate, the plants absorb nutrients, and after a while, if they are not replenished, they may begin to show some deficiencies. Nitrogen is one of the nutrients that are usually depleted first. It's best to fertilize before they show signs of deficiencies. And that's what I did yesterday: replenish substrate and fertilize. To do this, I used the worm humus that I make myself with vegetable scraps from home. Only vegetable scraps, no bones, meat, eggs, dairy or anything that is not of vegetable origin.

Before fertilizing I transplanted these basil plants into pots. I use the basil to camouflage the smell of cannabis. I also use it for salads and to make cannapesto sauce.

I then refilled the box with homemade worm castings. That's all the compost they have received and will receive. 100% organic. So far this season, I have not used fungicides or insecticides. It has not been necessary.

They defiantly seem to love what your doing!

The plants really like what the worms do better than what I do. ¡Thanks!

Your plants look fantastic
Love them!

Thanks! So do I 😀

Buenos humos....

Looking really good @happyfrog420-new! You always do a good job keeping the soil clean and nutrient rich. It shows in the overall health of the cannabis plants. This will be a nice harvest I am sure.

Yes, this year the plants have had no problems with powdery mildew like last year. They are very healthy and I am very happy. Thanks for stopping by @futuremind.

Congrats on the bio veggie compost! ;)

I'm thinking since yesterday to make this to my important pot... although my bio red cali worm compost is from the shop :P

happy plants on the last pic!
i see a little pop~corn nug on the bottom that i would be tempted to dry & try! :)
i do this cause usually i rarely find something to smoke :)
only lucky if someone offers to roll...

i don't buy since...years..
i still have a bit leaves from last year to fake smoging cigs :P
they taste horrible but on a clean mind infuse it with some calmness & creativity :)

Hi @trayan I used to buy bags of humus too but one day worms started appearing in the substrate. I think the humus bags came with worm eggs and here they hatched.

Yes, it is a temptation, even more so if you have nothing to smoke. Luckily I harvested some and can contain myself.

The day you smoke a real one again the high will be unforgettable. I hope it will be soon.

Have a great day.

Thanks! :)
