My daughter is very creative
And I love her creative mind and how she solves things by herself without even asking our help. It's cool to see that when she needs a wallet for example, she just crafts one from paper. Or when she wanted to have a lipstick for in her "salon", she just made one from foam. I'm amazed by her creative mind and it's cool to collect all these crafts in pictures and put them on chain so it can be found even decades from now (hopefully, lol).
Fun with boxes
Last week when there was an afternoon that I was not worth much in terms of keeping her busy, my boyfriend had some less busy hours with work and decided to help her with a robot she was building. Every time that a package comes, she wants to do something with the cardboard.
Usually, the cats will have a box to play with for a few days at least, until we get sick of the noise they make or when they start eating cardboard (it happens) and decide we have to throw it out to avoid stomach issues. But on other moments, our daughter is the first to decide what to do with it herself, and the cats are out of luck. This was one of these moments..
A robot
I don't know what triggered her to make a robot but she had it all figured out how she wanted to make it and she only needed help from her father to glue the parts together as it had to be done with a glue gun. He told her to cut all the parts first and then tell him what needed to be glued and he'd do it for her.
It was fun to walk in to a crafting session of those two because normally, I'm the crafty one and I bet she enjoyed seeing her fathers creative side this time.
The end result
As I was not present when they made it, I only have pictures of the end result:
I think she did a great job, and it's kept her busy for a few hours so that's even better!
Another craft project done and dusted, let's see what the next one will be :)
