So far it's working!
I got tired of using the clips on the metal stringers when bowfishing suckers in the creek. It slowed me down, they'd come unclipped, and it limited the number I was able to shoot before I had to bring them back to shore. After some thought and consideration, I decided to make an improvised rope stringer designed for my purpose and method of hunting fish.
Soon, I had crafted a couple heavy duty stringers and was impressed with how well they worked. I went from being able to fit nine fish on a stringer (plus one in each pocket and one under my arm) to easily carrying twenty fish on my new stringer. Here's a eighteen suckers and two quillbacks conveniently stored on one stringer. It worked, and not I'm more efficient! Enjoy the photos!
