I love my hibiscus plant - until I saw a bud covered in bugs of some sort! If you have any ideas about them, let me know! It is a bug infestation!

Beautiful plant. I have some small flies. I bought a sticky night light to catch them. They came in from outdoors and they were all over all of my plants.

Good luck!
!ALIVE

@old-guy-photos! You Are Alive so I just staked 0.1 $ALIVE to your account on behalf of @ wandrnrose7. (3/10)

The tip has been paid for by the We Are Alive Tribe through the earnings on @alive.chat, feel free to swing by our daily chat any time you want, plus you can win Hive Power (2x 50 HP) and Alive Power (2x 500 AP) delegations (4 weeks), and Ecency Points (4x 50 EP), in our chat every day.

Its so weird that when it was outdoors, I didnt see any problems. Good luck with your fight!

There are many types of bug spray and also the bug trap light that comes with UV and it says its safe to use.

I have never seen aphids on Hibiscus, but then, I haven't known anyone that takes them inside for the winter, so that is probably why. Here, we see a lot of aphids on the roses in the spring. My parents used to dust the rose bushes with powdered seven and that always helped, but it was always outside.

Yes sir! That's how the end of hibiscus plants starts. Dang pesky aphids!

Don't say I didn't warn you, though it looks like you saw the comment and image I left on your last post too late @old-guy-photos😢

For many years I had success removing the little effers by wetting soft paper towels, applying a dab of Dawn blue detergent to the towels and gently blotting the buds and leaves with it. Repeat as needed. Sadly if you're away for a few days and can't remove the pests, the hibiscus plants are history.

🌺Good luck, my friend!🙏

Oh I can just imagine. If I left this for a few days, there would be only stalks left if that. These guys are murderous!

@ninahaskin sent you LUV 🙂 (1/3)
