Seems like for the last few months I have had my chainsaw in my hands much more than my camera. I am still working on a mountain of tree trunks that need to be cut up into manageable logs that I can haul to be chipped and recycled back into soil. Nearly everyday, I haul over a thousand pounds of wood off of my lot to be processed. It's a large job that will take me through the winter and into the spring, I have no doubt. I guess it's a good thing I enjoyed the work LOL.
So hauling logs everyday has taught me a lesson; that even though I have a rubber mat protecting the deck of my truck bed, I still need to protect the sides. I did not want to tie up my truck for several days to have a bed liner professionally sprayed in, so I decided to DIY it. I decided to use the roll on Herculiner. I was able to purchase it on Amazon and it shipped rapidly. The application is easy and the price is inexpensive. I also thought that being able to touch it up with a fresh coat after several years if I decide to sell the truck would be a huge bonus. Hence I painted the bed black and I am satisfied with the results.
