And I was so amused by the call I just received, who could have believed that Miyyah would call?
Miyyah is my best friend whom I've seen for years. She is someone I can proudly say is the best person I've known...
Imagine getting a call from someone that it has been long you had a bromance with, someone you surely had miss. It was like the stars came visiting. I was swimming in my own laughter and joy.
But wait!!! What a suggestion she has come up with? I thought to myself, maybe i just just let my other friends know about this too.
So I took my phone and hit up all of mitual friends one after the other, told them about the suggestion of Miyyah and they were just as happy as I was.
And the date was set, the venue was Chosen after contemplating to either go to the restaurant or homemade. Restaurant seem like the easy option buh then the recent price hike in stuffs brought the whole responsibility back to me (as a chef😉).
Following that path, got all the things I needed for the preparations
We decided to make small chops, fried rice, jollof rice, chicken, vegetable salad and all.
In short I was preoccupied to a 'T' (if u know what I mean) for like a week to the picnic.
Had to go to the market like 3 trips to get ingredients and had to prepare the snacks (small chops) a day before and the main course on the D-Day
The venue was a garden fit for the occasion (picnic) and has many fun areas and games🥰🥰... It was a water view garden (imagine the natural serenity).
Today is not for tutorial buh the occasion itself. Stay tuned for tutorials though😜😉.
I had so much fun and a lot of catching up with Miyyah and friends, it was a day filled with fun and laughter
Got to be one of my best days...
