Styling a wig (SPOILER: It comes out wrong)

El mundo del arte y maquillaje no son tan maravillosos como parecen, a veces por querer hacer cosas nuevas terminamos en un brote psicótico y haciendo sacrificios totalmente innecesarios, hoy quiero que me acompañen a ver esta triste historia donde buscaba estilizar una de mis pelucas favoritas para un maquillaje que quería hacer específicamente, tenia muchas ganas de recrear un personaje y realmente ese era mi plan para el día de hoy, sin embargo, termine destruyendo una de mis pelucas favoritas y en este momento solo me estoy riendo de la situación pero hace poco estaba totalmente triste jajajaja, hoy me di cuenta que cortar pelucas no es para nada parecido a cortar cabello real, yo siempre me corto mi propio cabello y no sale mal, pero esta vez parecía que una vaca mordió mi peluca JAJAJA, poco a poco fui destruyendo todo sin darme cuenta.

The world of art and makeup are not as wonderful as they seem, sometimes for wanting to do new things we end up in a psychotic outbreak and making totally unnecessary sacrifices, today I want you to join me to see this sad story where I was looking to stylize one of my favorite wigs for a makeup I wanted to do specifically, I really wanted to recreate a character and that was really my plan for today, however, I ended up destroying one of my favorite wigs and right now I'm just laughing at the situation but a little while ago I was totally sad hahahaha, today I realized that cutting wigs is nothing like cutting real hair, I always cut my own hair and it doesn't come out bad, but this time it looked like a cow bit my wig HAHAHAHA, little by little I was destroying everything without realizing it.

No quiero decir que personaje iba a recrear hoy con esta gran idea que tuve, por que aunque haya quedado HORRIBLE pienso utilizarla de igual forma y ver la manera de que no se vea tan fea jajaja, quizás mañana o pasado mañana me anime a hacer este maquillaje por ahora solo puedo decir que mi personaje es azul y tiene el cabello corto, tome mi peluca y le tome una ultima foto antes de la tragedia, aunque ya la había cortado antes pero aquella vez fueron solo las puntas y no afecto tanto.

I don't want to say which character I was going to recreate today with this great idea I had, because even though it was HORRIBLE I plan to use it in the same way and see how to make it look not so ugly hahaha, maybe tomorrow or the day after tomorrow I will do this makeup for now I can only say that my character is blue and has short hair, I took my wig and took a last picture before the tragedy, although I had already cut it before but that time it was only the ends and it didn't affect so much.

Quería darle a esta peluca un corte parecido al mío, al estilo BOB, comencé por las partes delanteras donde intente dejar una parte larga y lo demás un poco mas corto, sin embargo, después de cortar y creer que estaba bien, puse mi cabeza derecha y me di cuenta que estaba super mal cortado, parecía que un animal hubiese mordido toda la peluca, pero aun asi no se veía tan feo (al menos a comparación de como quedo al final) corté por detrás pero sentía que quedaban mechones largos y realmente es difícil cortar en esa parte donde no ves absolutamente nada, se me ocurrió la grandiosa idea de quitarme la peluca y colocarla sobre la cabeza de un peluche que tiene mas o menos mi tamaño y empezar a emparejar todos los mechones mal cortados, yo estaba segura que estaba quedando super cool ya que estaba trabajando súper cómoda corte bastante cabello y mechones que estaban desigual, después de un rato termine pero…

I wanted to give this wig a cut similar to mine, BOB style, I started with the front parts where I tried to leave a long part and the rest a little bit shorter, however, after cutting and thinking it was ok, I put my head straight and I realized it was super bad cut, it looked like an animal had bitten the whole wig, but even so it didn't look so ugly (at least compared to how it was at the end) I cut the back but I felt that there were long locks and it is really hard to cut in that part where you can't see anything at all, I had the great idea to take off my wig and put it on the head of a stuffed animal that is more or less my size and start to even out all the badly cut strands, I was sure it was looking super cool since I was working super comfortable I cut a lot of hair and strands that were uneven, after a while I finished but...

Cuando levanté la peluca del peluche me di cuenta que estaba totalmente destruida, pensé; “Quizás se ve asi por que no me la he puesto” No podía estar mas equivocada, esto fue lo que vi al espejo cuando me la puse JAJAJAJA

When I lifted the wig from the teddy I realized it was totally destroyed, I thought; "Maybe it looks like this because I haven't put it on".
I couldn't have been more wrong, this was what I saw in the mirror when I put it on HAHAHA.

No podía creer este desastre salió completamente horrible, intente arreglarlo planchando algunos mechones a baja temperatura para darle forma, pero fue realmente imposible, a pesar de todo creo que aun asi puedo usarla si hago un maquillaje suficientemente bueno y jugando con los ángulos de la cámara quizás no se note que un animal mordió mi cabeza LOL

I couldn't believe this mess came out completely horrible, I tried to fix it straightening some strands at low temperature to give it shape, but it was really impossible, but I think I can still use it if I do a good enough make up and playing with the camera angles maybe it won't show that an animal bit my head LOL.

Blue wig

Una de mis mas preciadas, pero bueno, asi es la vida de quien quiere arriesgarse a más, realmente vi varios tutoriales en internet, pero supongo que no supe hacerlo bien, de todas maneras, siempre estas experiencias ayudan a no volver a cometer los mismos errores, estoy segura que algún día podre reemplazar a esta peluca que me ha ayudado en mucho de mis maquillajes.

One of my most precious, but well, that's life for those who want to risk more, I really saw several tutorials on the internet but I guess I didn't know how to do it right, anyway these experiences always help me not to make the same mistakes again, I'm sure that someday I can replace this wig that has helped me in many of my makeups.
