_As a cat parent myself, having a cat indoors is one of the challenges because Cat loves to play and be entertained. Cats playing is not optional, it is already part of their lifestyle to consume their energy.
_
_These are the cat toys that we have purchased and given a try but unfortunately, they didn't work for Roro (my cat), perhaps cats are different in their likes and dislikes, ages and breed also has some factor too.
_
_Here comes the help from Arduino. Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. Arduino boards are able to read inputs - light on a sensor, activating a motor, turning on an LED, and many more.
_
_It takes a motor servo that can do the rotation.
_
_I installed a round circle-style screw on the hole so it handles the stick wire
_
_I used an old food container to become the Arduino box.
_
_I made a hole to fit the servo motor.
_
_I used a wire hanger to be my stick.
_
_Indoor cats are unlike stray cats that they can get easily found their playtime because of the variety of objects and places outdoor, but indoor cats need some toys to play in a daily basis.
_
_This is the code I have uploaded to the Arduino which you can use too if you want to give it a try :)
_
_This is the finished product of the Arduino Toy Project for the Cat, I am using a power bank for the power source.
_
Roro loves her new Arduino Cat toy, I am happy that she liked it. If you are tired of wasting money on Pet toys like me, I can recommend using Arduino as your robot pet toy replacement
Follow me so you can see the update of this Arduino Cat toy project ^_^
