When I wanted to start homesteading, I started where I was at which was in the city in a subdivision. I began sourcing my food local. I began growing my own food. I began making my food from scratch. I began taking steps towards the life I dreamed of. I disconnected from what didn’t matter to me and cut off things wasting my time. I realized the world was a waste of time and I needed to focus on myself and my home to achieve what I wanted.

This year I decided the garden would be one of my primary focal points here on the homestead. When I moved here last year the landscape and builders were in disarray and sadly that meant the garden was lacking with very limited time I could spend on it.

I’m happy to report much of what I planted is already growing and I’m still out here planting every day. I feel like there’s just never enough time in the day lol This is a little photobomb of the garden and some of the work I’ve been doing to reach my own goals.

Truly, the life you want is not far removed. Stop telling yourself it is and go find it!

Wow! Now you reap what you sow. I like those tomatoes. I love planting too and I always do as much as I can and have space. 😍 You're doing great☺️
