I'm Menti, and I'm back with another photography shoot and another blog post, this time from a beautiful villa. I'll be sharing some cool black and white photography of a classic style that's absolutely perfect, set against the backdrop of a building.
Join me as we take a look at some of the best shots I took that day.
Let's talk about my model's style first.
He was wearing a classic black suit that was tailored to fit his body perfectly. He also had a pair of stylish sunglasses that added to his overall look. I've noticed that a lot of models gain a lot of confidence with the help of glasses, and this was a great help for me. It helped me get some great shots of him.
The look in the eyes is also very important.
During the shoot, I always ask my models to change their gaze and direction of gaze between shots so that I can get the best results and find the golden point of their face.
The building was built facing the sun, which was a challenge.
So we went to the garden closer to sunset when the harsh sunlight had subsided. It was the best possible time, and the clouds in the sky that day also helped us.
There was a variety of framing in most of the photos.
I used balance for some shots. This means I put my model in the frame of a door, and in another shot I used the columns of this beautiful villa, with my model standing right in the middle of them. With black and white photography, this beauty was doubled.
