Warm greetings to all my friends and welcome back to my new post. How are things going? I hope you are all doing well. Actually today is the day I have to teach my students. However, due to the political situation in our town, I didn't go anywhere today. I haven't done papercrafts in a while these days. And it's been a long time since I not posted about papercraft and DIY on hive. And it's been a long time since I not posted about papercraft and DIY on hive.
Today I used some of my leftover colored paper to make a cute papercraft. What I made today is daisy papercraft. To make the daisy flower papercraft, I used white, yellow and green colored paper for the color paper. Before I talk about the steps I did, I'll tell you about the materials I used.
Materials-
- colored paper
- scissors
- glue
- cup
- toothpick
- pencil and ruler.
Step-1
In step-1, I used white colored paper. On the white color paper, I drew a big circle. I used a cup to draw the circle. If you want a big daisy, you should draw a big circle. After that, I cut the white colored paper with scissors as I drew it.
Step-2
Now I have a white paper circle. I folded the white paper circle a bit from the middle. Then I folded it once more. After folding, you will get it as shown above.
Step-3
I drew a half circle on the close side of the folded white color circle. According to the drawn half circle, on the open side of the white color paper, I cut small pieces. I also cut the top of the small pieces into a circular shape with a pair of scissors. Now the white colored paper looks like a fan.
Step-4
Then I put the white colored paper back to its original shape. After that, I cut a little bit on the edge of the white colored paper with a sharp knife. I rolled all the edges of the white colored paper a little using a ruler. From a cut piece of white colored paper, I folded it inwards and then glued the ends together.
Step-5
In step-5, I used yellow colored paper. On white colored paper, I drew a rectangle 1 inches x 12 inches. Then I clipped the yellow colored paper with the scissors as I drew it. I folded the yellow colored paper from the middle. I drew a line about 0.2 on the edge of the colored paper and cut the colored paper into pieces along that line. Then I rolled the colored paper using a toothpick. Now this yellow colored paper is even similar to a dandelion flower.
Now I am ready to make the daisy. Inside the white colored paper, I attached the yellow colored paper with a little glue. Now I have a cute daisy flower. However, this daisy flower is not perfect yet.
Step-6
In step-6, I used green colored paper. I cut the green colored paper as needed with scissors and rolled it up using a toothpick. I did not measure when cutting the green colored paper. I cut the top of the rolled green colored paper a little with scissors and glued the daisy to that place. I also attached some leaves with glue. Now I got a lovely daisy flower.
