Greetings to all my friends. I haven't done papercraft in the last week. So today I made a little papercraft. Today I made a wall decoration lamp. The paper lamp I made today is not just a color, I created a rainbow color. But I also did not use a lot of color because I was running out of colored paper. I used blue, red, yellow, and orange colored paper to make this paper lamp. Before I go into the steps, let me tell you about the materials I used.
Materials-
- colored paper
- Pencil and ruler
- yarn
- double tape
- plastic cup
First, I made holes in the edges of the plastic cup. The method I used to make the holes was to heat the iron and make it. This is the easiest way to make holes in plastic. Then I tied the yarn in those two holes.
I chose a yellow colored paper and drew a rectangle 3 inches x 12 inches on that yellow colored paper. Then I cut the yellow colored paper with scissors and drew another line 1cm wide. I cut the yellow colored paper into pieces along the 1cm line I drew.
I used a pencil to curl the yellow colored paper lines I had cut. In the same way, I made the remaining orange, blue, yellow and red colored paper.
From those colored papers, I chose a yellow colored paper and glued it to the plastic cup with double tape. In the same way, I glued all the remaining colored paper to the plastic cup. When you stick it all together, it looks like a lamp. But this is not perfect.
At the end of the yarn I glued something decorated with blue and yellow colored paper. Then I glued it to the bottom of the lamp. I also decorated the inside of the plastic cup with some electric lights. That's all for today. See you in the next post. Bye Bye.🍇
