My son was busy making a jetfighter from a cardboard box yesterday. I did not know what he wanted to make at first. He often asked me to get used cardboard box, and he would created anything from gun, swords, cars or tanks. This time it was a jet fighter. No wonder during this week he watched YT videos on jetfighter a lot.
I left him made the jetfighter, while I did something else. From time to time, I came out from my room just to check how he was doing. He was stuck at making the jetfighter head. He had made several cubes from the cardboard box paper, but they were not fit as a jetfighter head.
I suggested him to make a cone shape head, because I thought that was the easiest way to do it. You could find easily how to make a cone from google on the smart phone. And he ran to borrow a plate from his mom in the kitchen to start making a cone.
I helped him to glue the cardboard box to make the cone. And then I also attached the cone to the jetfighter. It was an ugly disproportional cone that I made, but when attached on the jetfighter it look all right.
He was very happy with how the jetfighter look. One final touch was to cover the backside/ the tail of the jetfighter. You can not have an open jetfighter on its back, he explained.
Finally, it was done. My son played with his jetfighter a lot almost the whole afternoon. Later, when I went out with my motorcycle he joined on the back while playing with his jetfighter.
