Attention to all places without electricity after the hurricane #odette. Just a simple sharing I learned from my late grandfather.
I had posted this long before and I would like to do it again now. Hopefully, it will reach out in the eyes of so many people in my country who were devastated by the typhoon #odette. The last few weeks before Christmas day, some part of the Filipino community or province became the landfall of that said typhoon.
My hometown was among the victim. Thank God they were fine and safe. I taught them the secret of how to have a safe lamplight out of salt, oil, and cotton. It is better and safe than the candle and using gas or kerosene. Aside from being safe, it might be the cheapest way how to produce light. My grandfather taught me when I was yet a child. I won't forget it and even I applied it here in Saudi Arabia.
How to make it?
Please watch this video and tell me if you like it.
- bowl
- tin/glass
- oil
- salt
- stick of a match
Too easy to make in just 10 minutes and you will have light during the night without electricity. My boss couldn't believe what I did.
But candles are not safe, This way is better and it lasts longer. Just add oil every time you use it. We should be ready and apply creativity time like this.
Thank you for watching,
