I was checking on the crocus flowers last weekend and have been happy to see that also the white variety bloomed, lovely to see that most have opened. I watered them but after around 3 days, the flowers begin to wither and became dry.
At the same time, my cellphone made a Ping, I opened it and saw that it was the group chat from our apartment complex ..a neighbor from the other end of the building was asking for an assistance because her car did not start and she needs to go out . It was 9:00 AM and I just had my breakfast , after about 15 minutes, nobody replied on her request. So I thought I´d go and help her. We agreed on a meet-up in front of the convenient store, I met them and went to their garage downstairs. She asked me how we would do it with my car entering their garage ..I said I didn´t have the car because I have the kit to start the battery.
Battery was the culprit....
I brought with me a loader kit so I could recharge the battery... It was easy-peasy and I started attaching the loader to the poles of the battery and her boyfriend started the car and that was it. The motor immediately jumped and they were happy that I came by to help so fast. Can you imagine this small power bank starting a car? I also use this to load my cellphone and it is phenomenal and very fast.
The DIY Lamp Repair...
The blue ceramic lamp simply went off three nights ago..the problem was not the lamp but the switch. I went the other day to the hardware and got the switch. It was so tricky to attach the wires, I did not expect the difficulty because I have been repairing such as easy-peasy job.
The switch is not that easy to use, I wanted to return but I still managed to attach the wires on both sides of the switch.
Then I put back the switch cover and screwed it together and tried the switch..... the lamp burned, I am satisfied!
The only thing that is missing to finally finish the repair is the lamp shade which I want to change anyway because it had been too big in a small room. So the search will continue next week... I´ll keep you updated once I have found the right shade.
