This is only a temporary but it keeps the animals away from my crops and vegetables. I search for bamboo branches that contains thorns on it and I successfully found more. I hurriedly went back to my Garden and started to put the branches one by one.
This is the place were I put those bamboo branches. And it will need to gathered a lot of bamboo branches to make the fence completely. Cutting bamboo branches is very tricky and difficult, in fact I suffered to much pain and wounds because of its sharp pointed branches. I carefully cut it and placed in the designated areas. It was exactly 8 AM yesterday when I started to do my DIY simple fence and I am very thankful to my Partner for helping me doing it.
First, I removed those old and rotten coconut palms and those fence post that already rotten and eaten by a termites. The rusty nails are also put safely so that no one can step on it and avoided accident. First, I make simple fence out of bamboo branches near at this lemon grass plants so that no animals can approached here. The thorns helps the animals to keep away in this place and my plants will be very safe.
It takes hours of putting all bamboo branches and it was very difficult to put all this branches because it needs to connect to other branches and it should be properly placed. Even if it was a hot sunny day, but still we did our simple projects. We did not removed those small branches so that the animals will keep away to my Garden because of to many thorns on it. It needs a hard time searching for the branches because it needs to be cut pulled it out on the place.
As we finally complete my simple project and it is being done, I proceed to plant this monggo seeds in my Garden plot but first, I put some on the water and stirred just to make sure that seeds are good to plant. Those monggo seeds that floats is not good and it should be thrown away. After checking the seeds, I started to make a small holes on the plot at about 2 inches deep. I carefully covered it with soil and each holes consists of 5 to 6 monggo seeds.
The seeds are best and good to plant in the vegetable plots. Monggo seeds are highly in demand and very expensive here in our super market and it cost 100 Pesos per Kilo, that is 2 USD. So I decided to plant more so that I can sell and cook a dish out of monggo seeds.
River is very important in terms of Agricultural activities and one of this is by fetching water for crops and vegetable plants. After I finished planting those monggo seeds, I proceed to the river to fetched water and it needs to walk a few meters away. I passes by the cliff before I reached the river and using this small pails, I successfully got some water.
Next, I watered my monggo seeds using this water sprinkler. Using this kind of thing helps to the plants of not be damage or flashing out the soil. I watered it very gently so that the seeds will not come out, planting monggo seeds does not need to put in seedling trays. It can be abled to plant directly in the Garden plot and all we have to do is to cultivate the soil always.
