But before I share about the fish, I want to share our Piggery first. I am glad and happy because the pigs are healthy even though the weather is very hot. It is necessary to give water every day and feed at the right time. The inside and outside of the pig pen should also be cleaned regularly to maintain order and cleanliness here.
We feed our pig only twice a day. But even if they only feed it twice a day, they grow up healthy, the only thing to do is to always clean the environment and give clean water to the pigs. Last day, we sold a pig for 13,000 Pesos and I can really say that this is one of the good business for the Family. The place where the pig pen is located and located is close to the bamboo, so cleanliness must be maintained around it. It's also good here because the pigs like it fresh and cold.
Fish pond checking:
Next I went to our Fish pond which can also be seen near the Bamboo tree. We decided to buy a net to put on it, it acts as a barrier to keep the dry bamboo leaves from falling into the water. But even though there is a net in place, some leaves still fall into the water, probably because of the strong wind blowing here. I am happy because the fish are growing quite a bit and the food we are giving is just floater. We also plant kangkong to keep the water cool, it also provides oxygen for the fish. And the little fish have a place to hide.
Because the fish pond has had water for quite some time, algae has grown and multiplied here. It is also good for the fish that swim in it, I add water to our fish pond twice a week. This is because the water absorbs quickly because it is a sandy area. The other part of the fish pond is not finished yet, but we intend to finish it when we harvest the fish.
Goat Checking:
I also thought about checking my pet goat. The other day, I noticed in my little goat that his body was weak, and he was always lying down. Until Father gave him an antidote to restore his strength. When I checked again I noticed that he was quite strong and it was standing. The goat was eating the grass because I was very happy with what I saw. Goats have good pasture here in our area so I decided to take care of them.
Our Under Constructing Fish Pond:
We also decided to add another fish pond to make it more beautiful and have a lot of harvest when the time is right. We thought of building a new and relatively large fishpond here in the area. Even though there are many Coconut trees, we are still going ahead with our plans to put another fish pond. The only thing we do is to avoid the coconut trees and in a few days digging by the workers is in the wakaa which is also done. On the next day, we will fill each side of it with mixed cement.
Renovating My Uncle's House:
I also thought of visiting my uncle, because his house is close to ours. When I arrived at their house, I saw that they were repairing a part of their house. This is their kitchen and because its floor was destroyed and collapsed, they decided to repair it to make it new. Using 2x2 coconut wood, they made this pillar. It is beautiful and durable so it is perfect for building a house. Their walls and floors are made of bamboo, it's good because it's cool and fresh on the body, especially at midday.
It's really fun to live here in the Province. The place is quiet and very fresh. You can grow any type of Vegetables and take care of animals that will help us when the right time comes.
