Namaste!
Remember the last time I transplanted my 2 Adenium plants into bigger pots? Those plants were previously in smaller but separate pots too but yesterday evening I finally transplanted my 2 more Adenium plants into separate and bigger pots which had been growing together in a small pot almost from the beginning.
I'm sure you remember these plants because I've shown them to you before. They've been in this little heart pot for a while, but now they've grown so big that their baby bumps are about to bump into each other. So I decided to transplant these two growing plants into separate and bigger pots.
Thankfully, a while ago I had transplanted one of my Tulsi plants into a bigger pot, so I still had that old Tulsi pot free. Its size is about 5-6 inches.
Taking out these two plants from this simple-looking little heart pot without any damage was a very complicated and challenging task in itself because the shape of this pot was very narrow from the top, due to which I had to take out both the plants by holding them together and sliding them slowly. Thankfully, their roots had held the soil together, which allowed these plants to come out of the pot without scattering.
See the little heart shape formed with the roots under the soil, and with what complexity their roots are entangled with each other. :)
But by slightly shaking the roots, both the plants got separated without any damage to the roots, which was no less than a surprise for me.
One of them needed to be alone for a while!
I placed the other one in the middle of the empty Tulsi pot after filling half the soil in it and covered it completely with soil all around and set it.
This is the picture after pouring some water on the plant.
Andd, a closeup! :)
This is another empty pot of almost the same size, only its shape is straight.
This other plant rests in the other half of the broken heart. ;P
Following the same procedure, I filled a little more than half of this pot with soil mix and placed my other Adenium plant in the centre and covered it with soil mix all around and poured some water in it.
This one looks even more attractive, undoubtedly because it has more and greener leaves since it is split into two parts. πͺ΄π
