Creative Garden : I remember the first time I tasted rambutan fruit and bananas ripening on the tree

Hello friends in Hive Garden Community, everyone usually has fond memories of being in a garden, especially when our children like sweet fruit. Of course there is the first moment that we remember the first time we tasted the sweetness of the fruit in the garden. My post today is to take part in the #Creative Garden Challenge#, I will choose the theme I remember the first time I really liked rambutan and bananas. My city, Binjai, is the city with the best rambutan flavor in Indonesia, that's why our city is called the city of Rambutan. I remember when I was in elementary school, every resident's yard had a rambutan tree, this rambutan would start to turn red and ripen from July to August. Every Independence Day celebration on August 17, my friends and I will start visiting from one house to another to taste the sweetness of the rambutan fruit. The most impressive thing and what I will always remember is that we ate it directly up the tree with so much joy. But unfortunately, as time went by, many residents started cutting down their rambutan trees, because the land they owned was used to build houses for their families. Now not every house has rambutan fruit that tastes sweet and reminds me of the sweetness of my childhood. That's why now I want to rebuild my sweet childhood. I want my children to be able to taste the sweetness of rambutan and banana from their own gardening. I planted 5 rambutan trees and several banana trees. Children are free to enjoy rambutan fruit without having to buy it at the market. Children can enjoy rambutan fruit as much as they want, because the rambutans in the garden are starting to bear fruit.

It looks like our family can enjoy rambutan fruit until the end of the year, because one rambutan tree has started to flower and another rambutan tree has started to bear fruit, just waiting for a few more weeks to start ripening.

Throughout the year our family can also enjoy a variety of bananas with different flavors. Today when I went to the garden, I found green Ambon bananas that were starting to ripen on the tree. These green Ambon bananas are not yellow like most bananas when they start to ripen, but they are still green. , this banana is a type of eating banana, we can enjoy the sweetness of this banana without being processed into food.

Green Ambon bananas have a very sweet taste and I am lucky to have these bananas in my garden. Some friends who tried to plant these bananas were unlucky, because the green Ambon bananas they planted were not as sweet as the bananas in my garden. I also have green Ambon bananas with lots of fruit in one bunch.

I remember the first time I liked bananas in my grandmother's garden, the taste of ripe bananas on the tree was very different from the ripe bananas we bought at the market, jackfruit bananas which tasted sweet and fragrant. I also have a few trees in my garden, so I can still remember my grandmother.

This banana is getting old and looks like it will start turning yellow next week, I can't wait for it.

Rambutan is one of my favourite fruit, that I was introduced to while living in the Philippines. The tree does not grow on every island there either, so it was always a treat to visit a different island and see it in fill bloom:)

Yes and our city is the largest city of rambutan in Indonesia, city of Binjai, I am lucky to have a few rambutan trees and now they have entered the fruiting period, usually they will start to turn red in July @millycf1976

Ok, that's very interesting:)

I definitely know how important the rambutan is to you, @umirais ! And now I know even more why that is. I love how you are thinkinng of the children who will grow up to have similiar memories, because you know how precious they are!

Thanks for support and positif feedback @riverflows, by the way don't forget to transfer 5 hives to garden journal in may, because I won it 🙏🥰
