It's our second year of experiment with sunflowers which we try to grow from seeds.
We didn't buy special seeds, we just take seeds for eating and sprouted them. Seeds were raw and healthy, and they gave sprouts fast!
Then we just waited for warm weather and planted them in our garden.
At first they were very weak, and we didn't think they would be alive because the weather was changeable.
But they are alive!
It's a hot summer, and we watered them often to give them a chance to live.
They are not very tall like those sunflowers that are grown in fields.
They are about 60 cm high only, but they still have all traditional stages of growth, and I do hope they will give us some seeds;))
Now it's almost the finish - they are already yellow!!
Now it's the main to save them from hungry birds;))
Last year birds were faster than we and ate all seeds, but we had only 1 sunflower then. Now we have a dozen of them, and I hope this year will be better for us;)
