How are you dear friends @ratu-hive, how are you, hive-garden lovers.

I'm Putra Aceh, the husband of @ratu-hive is a newcomer to this community, and this is my first post in this community, I hope I find lots of friendly friends here and can become family.

Living in remote villages far from noise, congestion and air pollution has its own pleasures. We as a family live in remote villages in Aceh, a province rich in natural resources and beautiful scenery.

And recently we managed to buy a garden which we think is a dream come true beyond reason, we have long dreamed of having a garden in a remote village that holds thousands of beauties and mysteries.

And we dare to call our garden this enchanting paradise on earth.

In this week we routinely go to the garden to clean our new garden, we go in the morning and return in the afternoon, our tiredness is paid off with the hidden beauty of the natural panorama and various plants that faithfully accompany us every day.

This is our garden which we have finished cleaning......

We have just finished planting cayenne pepper plants in this garden, we planted them neatly in a row, it is not very visible at first glance the chili plants we planted, because the chili seeds are still small, but to plant good chilies, the size of the seeds that must be selected is still small , in order to quickly grow and develop.

img20211212102501.jpg

Our cayenne pepper is only a few days old, we have to wait one more week to apply fertilizer and pesticides to our chili plants, because applying fertilizer too quickly when the chili is still small is not good for the plant, and will result in stunted plants.

In our garden there is also a jackfruit tree that is bearing fruit, and the fruit is large, we estimate that we will be able to harvest this jackfruit in about 1 month.

To avoid pests such as monkeys and squirrels, we wrap the discarded jackfruit using used cardboard, this will protect the jackfruit from monkey disturbances while waiting for the harvest to arrive.

In our garden, before we bought it, the previous owner of the garden also planted an Aceh rambutan tree, and we estimate that it is about one year old, and usually at the age of 3 the rambutan will be harvested, so we only need 2 years to wait for this rambutan to bear fruit.

and tomorrow we plan to provide fertilizer to fertilize this rambutan tree.

In our garden, there is also a hybrid betel nut that is 1 year old, and according to the owner of the garden before we bought this garden, he said hybrid areca nut will bear fruit at the age of 2 years, this is considered very fast when compared to ordinary betel nut trees in general which take 5 years. or 6 years.

Areca hybrid stems are not high, only measuring 1 meter or more already bear fruit.

Non-hybrid areca nut, the tree is about 4 meters tall and has just produced fruit like this.

In our garden there are also pumpkin plants that are almost fruiting, the fruit is very good for cooking.

We also have banana trees that are almost ready to be harvested, and for now the price of bunched bananas is quite expensive, around 10 HBD.

There are also some banana trees that have not yet produced fruit, but will soon appear.

img20211212103025.jpg

We also plant 2 types of sweet potato trees, which can be used for the fruit and leaves, the fruit can be boiled or fried into chips, and the leaves can also be cooked, and the leaves of this sweet potato have high nutrition and nutrition.

We think for tomorrow we have to cut down some papaya trees that are old and the fruit is already small and these papayas have been attacked by pests.

At the end of our post, we also want to showcase the unique mushrooms we picked up in our garden using a macro lens.

This mushroom is very much growing in our garden, and unfortunately, this mushroom cannot be consumed because it is poisonous.

there are many more that I want to show you all about our garden, we feel very peaceful like being in heaven on earth when we are in the garden, nature offers thousands of beauties and mysteries that deserve to be revealed.
