Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Fence for Security Purposes

I began repairing the fence last Sunday, October 15, 2023. I plan to extend the fence all the way to our house to discourage any potential thieves from entering and stealing my vegetable crops.

I used old fabric from my son's clothes to wrap around the pole I constructed last year, which is still in good condition and sturdy.

I simply cut it lengthwise into strips about 1 inch wide and spliced them so they could easily wrap around the fence.

It wasn't easy because the old standing pole I used to hang the cut fabrics on was slightly damaged, so I repaired it first and also constructed a new small pole.

Typically, I work on my garden at night when I return from the office, dedicating an hour to it even when I'm tired. This garden serves as a stress reliever and helps me relax my mind.

I buried vegetable leaves that I collected from the supermarket trash, and this is what I use as organic fertilizer for my plants. Organic fertilizer is not only better for plants and the soil but also serves as a substitute for desert sand when it has dried and crumbled.

I have plenty of work left in my small garden, and I'm considering buying fake CCTV cameras to deter potential intruders. Even the light I had attached to the back of my house was stolen.

I need to raise and extend the fence in my garden to make it more secure and deter those who attempt to steal my vegetables.

You have actually done the right thing. The fake CCTV might also be of great help if you use it.

Thank you so much. I plan to get one next week, and I hope it will effectively deter them.
