Hello Gardeners
How are you today ? I hope and pray, we are all always given health and also happiness in living this life. I am also very happy, finally after two days of not writing, I can return to contribute and participate again to share stories about my activities in my hydroponic garden at Hive Garden Community. So, keep watching my post this time.

Harvest Vegetables in a Hydroponic Garden
This week, my activities are very busy and I have a lot to do. Apart from activities in the hydroponic garden, over the past few days I have receive a lot of orders from my online shop. For almost two years, I have a small business selling several products such as hydroponic equipment, small-scale vegetable seeds, palm sugar and various other products.

Even though I'm busy running a small business, I can't forget my hydroponic garden. Because besides I enjoy doing gardening activities, I also really get extra income from the vegetables that I harvest. This week, one of my activities in the hydroponic garden is harvesting vegetables.

In last week's journal hydroponics, friends can see the condition of my hydroponic garden which looks full of vegetables such as lettuce and kale ready to be harvested. When compared to my current hydroponic garden view, it looks very lame. Nearly 70% of the vegetables in my hydroponic media have been harvested.

Conditions of Lettuce in My Hydroponic Garden

This week, I harvested lettuce twice. First, I harvested 15 kilograms of lettuce last Thursday. I was very lucky, because I got a very good selling price for lettuce. For every kilogram of lettuce, I sell it at IDR 20K (or 1.35USD). Then, last Monday I also harvested about 18 kilograms of lettuce. In total, I have harvested about 33 kilograms of lettuce and earned about 44.5 USD.

My lettuce crop is also high quality lettuce. We can see it from the weight of the lettuce that I harvest around 70-85 grams for each pot. In addition, the lettuce is also very pretty, the texture of the leaves are wide and curly. I have also eaten this lettuce, and it tastes very good to eat. This lettuce is also very crunchy.

I still have lettuce in my hydroponic garden. I think there are about 150 more pots of lettuce on my second floor balcony. During the process of harvesting this lettuce, I also noticed a phenomenon in my hydroponic media.

I saw the spacing of the holes in my hydroponic medium, too close to plant the lettuce. Because of this, the lettuce grown in the middle of my hydroponic media has smaller growth compared to the lettuce grown on the side of the hydroponic media. Therefore, for the rest of the lettuce in my hydroponic garden this time. I try to make a distance for each pot.

This week, I also planted lettuce seeds to replace the lettuce I had harvested. I tried to sow about 600 lettuce seeds on rockwool and the lettuce seeds that I planted grew very well and also uniformly. You can see for yourself, now this lettuce has grown with two or three leaves.

If there are no problems or obstacles, I have a plan to transfer the lettuce seeds to the planting medium in about two days.

Condition of Kangkong in My Hydroponic Garden
Just like lettuce, last Thursday I also harvested about 12 kilograms of kale. The watercress that I harvested this time is of very high quality and very good. To get one kilogram of kale, I only need about 12 or 13 pots. During this harvest, I sold the kangkong for around 1 USD, so I earned 12 USD in this kangkong harvest.

Kangkong does have a lower price when compared to all the vegetables that I grow in my hydroponic garden. However, kangkong as a horticultural crop has many advantages such as fast growth, excellent growth ability and kangkong is also very rarely attacked by pests.

To replace the kangkong that I harvested, about five days ago I also sowed the kangkong seeds. Currently, the kangkong seeds that I sow in my hydroponic garden are about 5 days old after sowing. I have also transferred some of the kangkong seeds to my hydroponic medium.

During this planting period, I used a liquid fertilizer solution with a concentration of around 1000 ppm. I can't wait to see the progress of this kangkong in the next week. You will see how rapidly this favorite vegetable grows.

Condition of Pakcoy in My Hydroponic Garden
Next, I will invite my friends to see the pakcoy that I grow in my hydroponic garden. During this planting period, I have around 300 pakcoy pots in my hydroponic garden.

When compared to last week's pakcoy growth conditions, my pakcoy this week showed very good and optimal growth. We can see it from the growth of the pakcoy which seems to have grown twice as big as last week. During this planting period, I used a liquid fertilizer solution with a concentration of around 1200 ppm.

One thing I observed in the growth of Pakcoy during this planting period was that some Pakcoy pots did not grow uniformly with other Pakcoys. In particular, the pakcoy on the top shelf looks smaller than the other pakcoy. I haven't found the problem myself, I'm still studying this case.

Mint Leaves Condition in My Hydroponic Garden
Lastly, I invite my friends to see the condition of the mint leaves in my hydroponic garden. Currently, I have about 200 pots of mint leaves that I grow in various hydroponic installations that I have.

In my wall hydroponics I grow about 60 pots of mint leaves. The mint leaves that I planted here grew very well and optimally. You can see it for yourself, from the leaves that look green and the branches of this plant that keep growing.

At the front of my hydroponic garden, I planted about 150 pots of mint that I grow in my hydroponic garden. I planted it in two hydroponic installations that I assembled with a pump system and a water tank. The mint leaves are also growing very well and optimally, I have planned to harvest some of these mint leaves to sell to my customers.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. About three days ago I got a pot of menthol plants from my friend. I'm interested in multiplying this menthol leaf in my hydroponic garden later.

Okay, maybe this is just my story this time. See you at another time. See you in your garden.

@isdarmady Very nice your hydroponic garden, the lettuces look beautiful, I really like to use mint when I make lemonade. I live in an apartment and have potted oregano, linden and spinach.

hello @osismi thank you for stopping by
It's so cool to be able to keep gardening even if you live in an apartment. I think, we do have to make good use of space.
