Hello guys!
It's tiring for me when Eid al-Fitr is coming, I don't feel like the days are just counting, fasting will end soon and this month full of grace will go away. Honestly, I feel sad when Ramadan passes, it's not enough to save the reward this month.
My routine before Eid is very much, starting from making cookies, cleaning the house in a deep clean and the terrace of the house which contains a lot of plants. All these activities I do by myself, without anyone's help. Actually my husband helps me clean the house, but you know, men can only clean quickly but not thoroughly. I ended up fixing everything myself even though my waist felt like it was going to break.
There are interesting things that you should know, actually there will be no guests who come to our house, we are the ones who visit the homes of our parents, relatives and friends. Who wants to come to a house so far from the city? The distance from our house from the city can take 1 hour, and it will be very time-consuming.
However, I still carry out cleaning activities because I feel the hype from Eid will be felt, so this is just my sentiment.
Incidentally, today's schedule is to clean my terrace which has not been interrupted for 1 month, I'm very lazy to clean the terrace lately because summer really makes me feel dry. Even so, I was diligent in watering all my plants, but I never checked or cleaned the dry leaves.
Before
After
As you can see, a lot of dry leaves have fallen as a result of this summer. But thankfully, new leaves have appeared because I don't forget to water my plants every day. I also often sprinkle rice washing water as an additional nutrient for all my plants. After all, rice washing water is free if I cook rice!
There were some plants that I moved because my cat was very naughty to drop all my plant pots, I finally returned them to the original shelf where I put all my plants. I hope the cats don't play on my flower rack anymore, I'm really sick of this drama. Imagine, two months ago a plant died because it fell off the shelf, while I was out of town for 3 days, the plant immediately died of drought due to being separated from the pot and planting medium.
And there are also some plants that I bother with because the roots are very sticky and a lot, so I cut 1 of the pots so that the roots can be easily removed from the pot. I moved it to a bigger pot, even though I knew it wouldn't fit enough if my plant got bigger. At least the pot can last for the next 6 months.
Finally, my terrace is back in order, even though I can't install my hydroponic device because it will take a lot of time to seed and sow vegetables.
