It is definite that dedicating a few hours to gardening makes me happy, I guess the reason is to see the results, it fills me with motivation and I want to do something else that allows me to see the beauty of nature and know that I am part of that process.

A few weeks ago I told you that a neighbor uprooted a good part of a plant, the uprooted part I planted it in a temporary pot and it is already very firm, but what was left in the ground was very weak and between rains and more, it ended up trampled and died, I will not deny that it gave me courage, but I decided to take it easy and plant something else there.

So thinking about this, today together with my husband and son I planted five plants, but first things first while my husband would have the place where I would plant one of the aloe vera or Aloe Vera that my mother had and that was obvious, they needed to be in solid ground, I added more shells to the compost and leaves in the process of decomposition as you can see in the picture you can see the place where my neighbors the opossums lift the plastic to eat part of the shells.

Now, I planted where before was the silver that died one of the Aloes, there it will receive sun part of the day, I hope it adapts well, since where they were besides no longer being comfortable there was much humidity and the plants of this type do not require exaggerated irrigation or they rot.

On the other hand, I planted next to one of the purple cretonas, one of which has very vivid green, purple and fuchsia colors, so that they can keep each other company, and besides she will receive sun there only part of the morning which is what I want, perhaps planting her further away might not be of benefit to her, since the excess of sun faints them, likewise I took advantage of one of the temporary pots and planted a cutting of the purple one to plant it later somewhere else.

The other silver aloe I planted quite close to these cretonas, but in a place where it will receive sun rays, and this gave me an idea to also plant there some other mother-in-law tongues, also known as sansevieria / sword of St. George, but for this I must plant some cuttings so soon I will seek to put hands to work to later achieve this goal that I presume will be in the medium term if I put hands to work soon.

Also, I took the opportunity to plant in the gardens another of the lilies that my mother had in gardening bags, the poor thing looked very bad, but it will get better and I know this because I saw that the one I planted weeks ago, looks beautiful, the rains last week helped it a lot so I know that this one will also manage to adapt with care and removing the weeds around it, so they do not choke it as I do with the other one.

Also, I moved an oregano plant that my mother had in a pot, many of its branches looked strange, I went to cut it and it turned out that they were already rotten, but it is so strong that it gave this new branch so I moved it to a less humid place, it is in the list of several that are in pots and need more soil.

Also, I added a little more soil to one of my indoor plants, the plant with no name (I don't know its name), I had a little bit left in the tank, the poor thing still needs more, but putting a little bit was better than continuing to see how its level was reduced and as usual in these tasks, besides the help of my husband and my son, the cats could not be missing, I was delighted to get to the place where I usually do my gardening work and see there my Luigi who little by little is improving from his gingivitis.

In summary, it was a pleasant gardening Tuesday, the only thing that worries me is the horrible state that the rose looks, it seems to me that someone else pruned it or touched it and it is like dry or dying part of its stem, it looks very dark and ugly, I will check the faces of the moon to prune it and wait for results, it would give me a lot of pain to lose it. Es definitivo que dedicar unas horas a labores de jardinería me hace feliz, presumo que la razón es ver los resultados, me lleno de motivación y deseo hacer algo más que me permita ver lo bello de la naturaleza y saber que forme parte de ese proceso.

Hace ya unas semanas les comenté que una vecina arranco buena parte de una planta de raíz, la parte arrancada la sembré en una maceta temporal y ya está bien firme, pero lo que quedo en tierra era muy débil y entre lluvias y más, termino pisoteada y murió, no negaré que me dio coraje, pero decidí tomármelo con calma y sembrar algo más allí.

Así que pensando en esto, hoy junto a mi esposo e hijo sembré cinco plantas, pero primero lo primero mientras mi esposo habría el lugar en el sembraría una de las sábilas o Aloe Vera que tenía mi madre y que ya era obvio, necesitaban estar en tierra firme, yo agregue más conchas al compost y hojas en proceso de descomposición como notaran en la foto pueden ver el lugar en el que mis vecinas las zarigüeyas levantan el plástico para comer parte de las conchas.

Ahora bien, sembré donde antes estaba la plata que murió uno de los Aloes, allí recibirá sol parte del día, espero se adapte bien, ya que donde estaban además de ya no estar cómodas había mucha humedad y las plantas de este tipo no requieren riego exagerado o se pudren.

Por otro lado, sembré junto a una las cretonas moradas, una de la que tiene colores verde, morado y fucsia muy vivos, para que se hagan compañía, y además ella allí recibirá sol solo una parte de la mañana que es lo que deseo, tal vez sembrarla más allá podría no ser de beneficio para ella, ya que el exceso de sol las desmaya, así mismo aproveche una de las macetas temporales y sembré un esqueje de la morada para sembrarla más adelante en alguna otra parte.

La otra plata de aloe la sembré bastante cerca de estas cretonas, pero en un lugar donde recibirá rayos solares, y esto me dio una idea para sembrar también por allí algunas otras lenguas de suegra, también conocida como sansevieria/ espada de San Jorge, pero para ello debo sembrar unos esquejes así que pronto buscaré poner manos a obra para más adelante lograr este objetivo que presumo será a mediano plazo si pongo manos a la obra pronto.

También, aproveche para sembrar en los jardines otro de los lirios que mi madre tenía en bolsas de jardinería, la verdad la pobre lucia muy mal, pero se mejorara y esto lo sé porque vi que el que sembré hace semanas, luce bellísimo, las lluvias de la semana pasada lo ayudaron mucho así que sé que esté otro también lograra adaptarse con cuidados y retirando de su alrededor las malas hiervas, para que no lo ahoguen como hago con la otra.

Así mismo, mude de lugar una planta de orégano orejón que tenía mi madre en una maceta, muchas de sus ramas lucían extrañas, me acerque a cortarla y resulta que estaban ya podridas, pero es tan fuerte que dio esta nueva rama así que la moví a un lugar menos húmedo, está en la lista de varias que están en macetas y necesitan más tierra.

Además, a una de mis plantas de interiores, la planta sin nombre (no sé cómo se llama) le agregue un poco más de tierra, me quedaba un poquito en el depósito, la pobre aún necesita más, pero ponerle un poco era mejor que seguir viendo como se reducía su nivel y como es costumbre en estas labores además de la ayuda de mi esposo y de mi hijo, no podían faltar los gatos, me encanto llegar al lugar en el que suelo realizar mis labores de jardinería y ver allí a mi Luigi que poco a poco va mejorando de su gingivitis.

En resumen, fue un martes de jardinera grato, lo único que me preocupa es el horrible estado que luce la rosa, me parece que alguien más la podo o toco y está como seca o muriendo parte de su tallo, luce muy oscuro y feo revisaré las fases de la luna para podarla y esperar resultados, me daría mucho dolor perderla.
