Today I decided to give some of the plants I have indoors some TLC, because it was definite that I could not continue postponing it, they already showed signs of needing TLC such as more soil, change of pots or removing them.

I started as usual adding more material to the compost, it was nice to see or rather perceive the smell of quality soil, I did not see earthworms, but I know that everything is on the right track and soon the results will be seen, that's great.

Now then I transplanted the zamioculca that I bought last year, it gave a new branch very big in comparison with the first one and I could see that the small pot would not allow it to grow, so I took out the pot that I had bought last year just for it and planted it there, I hope that now it will give more branches.

On the other hand, one of the jades, the one that had given more problems, but that already looks better, I decided to change its soil, because I noticed that when I watered it it did not drain well and to my surprise it was the best decision, because its soil was a complete swamp, now I hope to see it grow more comfortable and happy.

From one of my mother's pots I took out some dead plants, but the soil is great, so I used it partly for the jade and I put some in the pot that belonged to the zamioculca to plant some small cactus. Also, in the unoccupied pot, I found a small oregano plant and planted it in a temporary pot to acclimatize and then transplant it somewhere else.

I also took the opportunity to add soil to the jade that is down in the gardens and gave a cutting of a purple cretonne to a neighbor who wants to plant in other gardens. Sadly, the colorful cretonne I planted at carnivals seems to have died, as I planted it in what I think is my cats' sandbox and apparently the pee hasn't lent it any good.

Finally, I am glad to see that although one of the branches of the rose dried out completely, she has a new one that looks very lively and green, which was born from the bottom, this rose has shown to be a real fighter, I will wait for the right moon to cut this dry branch.

I say goodbye happy because it is definitive that the hours that I dedicate to gardening makes me very, very happy, a hug to all and until a next publication full of plants.

Where do you normally get your soil from? Do you use compost?

Hello @riverflows I am currently taking it from the gardens or pots in which the plants have died, as I am in the process, again to make the most of the compost that was my mother's, after her death I found a bag in which I had saved part of the result of the compost, that land or compost was a wonder.

Fortunately, here there are many green areas and in certain places the leaves accumulate and what is left underneath becomes an excellent quality soil. Last year I also received half a bag of soil that a friend bought in a nursery and it helped me a lot with a group of plants that I transplanted to bigger pots, because I was lacking soil.
