Hello everyone. I'm here again to share with you another project for "Talent Tuesdays". My current project is titled "Guardian of the Portal".
My theme consists of a mixed media art design that portrays an alien being guarding a portal to another world to prevent humans from Planet Earth from entering. No one knows the reason the being was assigned as a protector of the other outer world. Menacing images meant to frighten humans were used by the guardian as a deterrent in approaching the edge of the galaxy.
In designing my mixed media art project, I discovered an awesome alien female image that fit perfectly with my theme of a guardian of the outer universe. Of course, the theme wouldn't be complete without a menacing portal of fire. To ward off intruders, various alien-like figures were included. For my background, a cosmos dark green matter that resembles a glob also fit perfectly in the scene.
Replacing the female's head with exploding bulbs as eyes was fun. Finally, I used Deep Dream Generator to filter the dwarf's image. I love the haunting two-toned angry pose that the filter produced.

Blending elements is accomplished with Canva, my design program. Below are my steps in which I began with a blank, white canvas. I then added layers of elements, removing backgrounds, resizing, and repositioning items as needed. Below is my process in pictures.
