Hello everyone, dear fans of Steemmonsters. This week I decided to join the Splinterlands Art Contest. I really like to draw in my free time, and decided to draw an EARTH ELEMENTAL card. It is also a surprise for my sons, they will wake up in the morning and will be very surprised by my drawing (they love to play the game).
✏️ I prepared materials: A4 paper, gel pens, pencil, eraser, markers.
Let's start
I start drawing with a pencil.
Then I draw a contour with a black gel pen. See how the picture changes at once.
Then I think: what color to start painting, and what tools to use for this? I decide to draw leaves. I take a green gel pen (it's a little shiny)
I have to keep painting. I take a blue gel pen. And I add color where it is needed.
True, it already looks more fun? Then even better. I take a green marker and draw the lightest tone in the picture.
Everything except the trunk and branches has already been drawn. The only color left is brown. Let's get started.
Wow, my tree is almost ready. But it should still have bright reflections. I immediately decided to take them as a proofreader.
You know, it looks very close up, the texture and shades are very interesting.
I specially added a yellow marker to the background and the picture is ready!
