Hola amigos de la comunidad Holos&Lotus, hace unos días publicaron una iniciativa para apoyar a nuestra amiga @charjaim que está pasando por un momento difícil. Yo soy nueva en la comunidad, sin embargo, no puedo simplemente ignorar este tipo de iniciativas, además he leído algunas de sus publicaciones y me han encantado.
Estuve pensando en que podría hacer para unirme a la iniciativa y se me ocurrió dibujar algo que representara una mano amiga, y tuviese bastantes colores. De esa manera, tome todas mis herramientas y me senté a dejar que mi imaginación volara. Espero que les guste.
Hello friends of the Holos&Lotus community, a few days ago you posted an initiative to support our friend @charjaim who is going through a difficult time. I am new to the community, however, I can't just ignore this kind of initiatives, besides I have read some of your posts and I loved them.
I was thinking about what I could do to join the initiative and came up with the idea of drawing something that represented a helping hand, and had plenty of colors. So, I took all my tools and sat down to let my imagination fly. I hope you like it.

Paso 1: boceto | Step 1: Sketch
Comencé colocando mi mano en la hoja para marcarla en ella. Una vez que tuve la silueta de la mano, fui acomodándola y dibujándole las uñas. Este fue un paso muy sencillo que no me llevo mucho tiempo.
I started by placing my hand on the sheet to mark it on the sheet. Once I had the silhouette of the hand, I started arranging it and drawing the nails. This was a very simple step that didn't take me long.
Paso 2: Detalles y fondo| Step 2: Details and background
Con la mano dibujada, comencé a dibujarle detalle que se me ocurrieron. Dibuje una mariposa que es un símbolo de transformación y cambio. Unas flores que tienen muchísimos significados dependiendo del color que ellas tengan y son una gran representación de emociones. Algunas de ellas las coloqué en unas curitas para representar que aunque ayudes a alguien más, tú también tienes heridas.
Para el fondo, lo coloreé con tres tizas, una amarilla, otra verde y finalmente una azul. Este dibujo quería hacerlo muy simbólico y llenarlo de objetos que representaran la solidaridad y los buenos deseos, por ello, el fondo también tiene significado. El amarillo, porque es un color que representa la alegría y el optimismo, eso es algo que siempre debemos tener presente, aunque estemos pasando por momentos difíciles. El verde, porque mi mamá me dijo que significaba buena salud. Finalmente, el azul que, como muchos saben, representa la paz y la tranquilidad.
Pinte las uñas de rojo, sé que el color representa más el amor y la pasión, pero también está asociado con la fuerza y la determinación, que es necesaria para poder llevar a cabo nuestros objetivos.
With my hand drawn, I began to draw details that came to mind. I drew a butterfly which is a symbol of transformation and change. Flowers that have many meanings depending on the color they have and are a great representation of emotions. Some of them I placed on band-aids to represent that even if you help someone else, you have wounds too.
For the background, I colored it with three chalks, one yellow, one green and finally one blue. I wanted to make this drawing very symbolic and fill it with objects that represent solidarity and good wishes, so the background also has meaning. The yellow, because it is a color that represents joy and optimism, that is something we should always keep in mind, even if we are going through difficult times. Green, because my mom told me it meant good health. Finally, blue, which, as many know, represents peace and tranquility.
Paint your nails red, I know that the color represents more love and passion, but it is also associated with strength and determination, which is necessary to be able to carry out our goals.

Antes de iniciar a colorear todos los detalles, coloree la mano con un color piel.

Coloreé las curitas y las plantas. En cuanto a las flores, coloree unas azules para representar la paz y tranquilidad que es necesaria para poder enfrentar cualquier desafío en nuestras vidas. Otras rosadas para la gratitud y la admiración; y finalmente, unas violetas para la tranquilidad y paz interior. Represente mucho la paz y tranquilidad porque es muy necesaria para poder solucionar cualquier situación con sabiduría.
La mariposa la coloreé de amarillo porque leí una vez que esas mariposas son símbolos de buena suerte y prosperidad.
Ese fue todo el proceso, que refleja principalmente la alegría, la salud y la paz. Espero que haya sido de su agrado, me gustó mucho dibujarlo, y aunque no es perfecto, creo que refleja lo que quería mostrar. Invito a participar a: @mireyaromero y @carly765
I colored the strips and the plants. As for the flowers, color some blue ones to represent the peace and tranquility needed to be able to face any challenge in our lives. Other roses for gratitude and admiration; and finally, some purple ones for tranquility and inner peace. It represents peace and tranquility a lot because it is very necessary to be able to solve any situation wisely.
I colored the butterfly yellow because I once read that butterflies are symbols of good luck and prosperity.
